Nowadays, Education for children in order to establish a better society has become a heated issue

among countries. However, the destiny of society is not determined by the extent to which children are

socialized and we haven’t failed to raise children for a better society as the speaker claims.

Considering the first part of that twofold statement, the destiny of society not only has the merit of
inertia accumulated through the great human history but also attributes to the effort which we exert as well as the direction we head. Similarly, it's just like a wheel rolling relentlessly in certain tracks led by
extra forces. The destiny of society is largely based on the foundation the human civilization has made, whereas children are expected to pass the socialized torch on and on.

Moreover, aside from the fact that without being socialized a child is more likely growing up as a man
who is antisocial, there are another two major factors do have impact on the making of a better society. First, the newly technique and cutting-edge science has changed the form of our society, increasing the
speed of globalization and information boom. Secondly, the economy appears everywhere in our society and can lead great reforms of a society, taking the Reform and Open-up in China as an example.

As the second part of the statement is concerned, I disagree with the speaker on the ground that our
society do have achieved huge improvement these years on the effort that the children of our
grandparents have made. One telling example involves that our parents as the mainstay of the society in today's China have endured Three Years of Natural Disasters and The Cultural Revolution. With the merit of hard-work learned from their parents, they have constructed our nation of a stronger society. To
bring the discussion in a wider context, there is an increasing number of people who enjoy the right of
freedom as an independent individual and democratic societies that thrive on different continents. As is mentioned before, in today's high-tech world, global communication especially The Internet has greatly
stimulated cross-cultural trade and share.

Although the society is better served, I concede that there do exist several vital issues calling for recipe
with the respect of problems our children may face. Children who indulge into the virtual world the
computers have created can lose the sense and ability of socialization in the real-world life, and be lack of the responsibility to the society. Besides, we have suffered the loss of cultural idiosyncrasy due to the tendency of unity of different societies. It is extremely tough to address such issues; however, our
children will benefit a lot from learning to steer clear of these obstacles.

In sum, the destiny of society depends upon not only children but also individuals who once lived or are
living in the society and have contributed to great development in science, technology and economy
which in turn help to make a better society and we can safely give credence to the fact that our children are able to make a better society than any generation ever did.
