12.7日作业：People who do not work because they have enough money are rarely happy

People claim that happiness which can bring joy and delight to people is becoming rare in the world. I totally agree with this statement, especially for those riches who do not need to work. Money gives them opportunities to escape from disturbing aspect of life, but it also take away many memorable and valuable chances to experience life by themself.

Not everyone likes their current occupations, however, we have to admit that a work at least gives us a clear goal for us to fight on. Setting a goal is of utmost importance for everyone since the existence of the aim reminds us to keep aware of our imperfect current life and it portrays a better life we can expect. Although the struggle to achieve the goal is painstaking, we can derive great sense of fulfillment from our striving. For people who do not have a job, in other words, aimless person, they rarely can experience the happy from their achievement and thus the happiness rarely knocks at their door.

I agree with the statement that money is the source of evil to some degree. A large amount of money do not necessarily leads to happiness. In fact, it often result in the adverse outcome which means great and endless trouble. Let's take a look at those people win their fortune by lottery or gamble. Surely enough that they do not need to work since with those money they can make a good living. However, almost all of them are worrying about losing those money someday because they have no idea of how to deal with them. And people from everywhere are curious about how they will use the money. Medias keep on inquiring and reporting which greatly interrupt their private life. Therefore, the happiness is destroyed.

The largest population of people who saved a lot of money and do not need to work must be the elders. They retired from their works and do not need to worry about the money since it is earned by themself, no one will question it. However, they concern about their descending health condition and sleep standard. Many of them have illnesses which prevent them from delicious food. They may also suffer from pain accompanied with them for many years. I believe no one will be happy under such condition.

In a nutshell, happiness is not determined by the treasure we obtain. It is also not merely comes from money. Everyone have to discover their own happiness, no matter from work or other direction.
