Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Nowadays people are too much emphasized on appearance and fashion.

With the development of the society, appearance and fashion has exerted more and more influence on our daily life. Believe it or not, people are too much emphasized on appearance and fashion.

Some people may hold the opposite view and argue that the inner world and good characteristics of a person would impress others much more deeply, but the fact is that we are forced to emphasize more on appearance and fashion.

First of all, the whole society has the inclination to emphasize the appearance and fashion of a people. We don’t need to refer to some abstruse theory, just take a glance at a small restaurant and we can understand it. Usually a person with an excellent appearance and in fashion would be served firstly, but he who is relatively poor in this aspect would be left behind or even be denied to get in. Why would this happen? The fact that the restaurant is a business is true; they would like to serve those with a good appearance and in fashion because these people are much more likely to have enough money to consume, hence they can make more a profit. The point is that nearly everyone has to face those daily trivial, such as eating at a café, consuming in a tailor’s shop and so forth. In order to avoid being overlooked in these circumstances, we all are forced to emphasize on the appearance and fashion.

On the other hand, the more developed media system force people to emphasize the appearance and fashion. In current society, media has developed dramatically and nearly scratched to every corner of the society. The problem is that these media are all full of stories or news about a successful character with a good appearance and in fashion. If we have failed in finding such a story in a newspaper, it is still too early to feel surprise, as ads persuading people to improve their appearance or teaching people how to keep fashion must be found. To understand it clearly, all that we need to do is have a look at those magazines or newspapers. To every two pages of content, there must be one page relative to the appearance or fashion. Edified by media, nearly no person will neglect the importance of appearance and fashion.

In general, being forced by the external environment, either other people they encounter everyday or media they consult, people are emphasized too much on appearance and fashion.

这篇来说 比LZ以前的文章有进步  一些词用得也不错 比如trivial

一读感觉一气呵成~~很流畅~估计写的时候思路也比较好

继续努力~这篇文章应付IBT作文个人认为没啥问题了
