1.4日作业Teachers should be paid according to the performance of their students.

When it comes to teachers’ salary, quite a few people would claim that teachers should be paid according to the performance of their students. Yet, in my point of view, I believe that teachers should be not paid according to the performance of their students.

First of all, it is unfair for teachers to get paid according to their students’ performance rather their own’, because the difference among subjects can never be ignored. For example, it is harder for students to gain the concepts and theory of the mathematics rather than that of history, thus it is common for students to get a relatively lower score in mathematics course than those in history course. If we infer, according to the difference of students’ performance between the two courses, that the mathematics teacher is not as outstanding as the history teacher, mistakes would probably occur.

In addition, some false scores may take place if teachers are paid according to their student’s performance. Here is an instance, when students’ performance (primary students’ scores) could be a standard to measure teachers’ salary, teachers would tend to score their students’ marks higher than normal in order to get a well paid, because in that way, they could get high salary of course. Thus, false and unhonest (??) can happen inevitably.

Admittedly, the performance of students may, to some extent, be a sign of the performance of their teachers, thus it makes sense that students’ performance could be a measure of teachers’ rewards. Here is an example, if teachers get paid according to students’ performance, teachers’ could be spurred to explore ways to improve students’ studies by stirring their spirit, buoy up their imagination, and goad their creativity.

By and large, although the performance of students partly indicates teachers’ performance in their teaching career, There is a rhyme and reason that teachers’ salary should not be determined by their students’ performance.

楼主文章写的不错,层次清晰,用词得当,错误很少,事例举的也挺好的,是一篇好的托福作文。我水平有限,只能改出这么点,希望能抛砖引玉。

In addition, some false scores may take place by mistake if teachers are paid according to their student’s performance. Here is an
instance, when students’ performance (primary students’ scores)(是否在这里也对performance的定义迷惑了?) could be a standard to measure teachers’ salary, teachers would tend to score their students’ marks higher than normal in order to get a well paid, because in that way, they could get high salary of course. Thus, false and unhonest (??) dishonest(不懂就查字典)canwill happen inevitably.

Admittedly, the performance of students may, to some extent, be a sign of the performance of their teachers, thus it makes sense that students’ performance could be a measure of teachers’ rewards. (句子太长了,而且很不顺.)Here is an example, if teachers get paid according to students’ performance, teachers’ could be spurred to explore ways to improve students’ studies by stirring their spirit, buoy up(紫色部分为要改进的词,这个意思完全不通.是想用比喻吧?但好像意思反了,而且好像没有这样表述的.) their imagination, and goad their creativity.

andor reason that teachers’ salary should not be determinedpaid by their students’ performance.

看出想在修辞方面改进,但好像很多用法不地道和莫名其妙.
总意思是有了,但是表达不清.
最后一段短了点.
词汇量是有了,就是注意个别的用法.
