Today, some people prefer to live in a small town. Others like to live in a big city. The advantages of living in a small town carry more weight than those of living in a big city. There are numerous reasons why people perfer to live in a small town, and I would explore only a few of the most important ones here.
One of the primary cause is that people who live in the small town can get a quiet environment unlike in the big city, it almost impossible to find
a tranquil place. Everywhere is surrounded by noise. On the other hand, the fluent traffic is another merit of town-life. imaging when you driving in the rush hours in a big city,the traffic congestion will be yours nightmare.
What is also worth noticing fact is that in general, the people who live in the small town all more friendly and more honest than others people who live in the big city. to illustrate this, there is an example that is very persuasive, once I lived in a small town named Nanaimo. Everyday on my way to shcool, all the people who passed by me gave me a smile or said hello to me. That made me pleasant. But when I walked on the big city 's street, nobody care each other,all of then looked like aloof.
Futher more, the basic allowance is much lower in the small town. you can rent a apartment at a cheap price with the same surface one in big city. Not only this, every thing is cheaper in a small town. Such as bus ticket; food; schooling;etc.
The quiet enviroment can do a great help on one's health,the friendly social life takes a significant part in one's free time and the lower basic allowance make people have a relaxed life. Taking into account of all these factors, we may reach the conclusion that people can get a better life in a small town.
