The lecture is mainly discussing the disadvantages of working for a four-day week ,challengingly what are stated in the reading passage that employees work four days a week will benefit both companies and stuff.


First of all,the speaker considers that work of a four-day week is hiring new employees which cost more money for training and beneficial. The additional computers and space also increase the cost so that decrease the profits of company. In contrast, the reading passage believes that because four-day week solution only pay 80 percent of the normal rate which reduce the cost.


Second,the speaker discusses companies may not hire new employees that no more job created .Boss perhaps raising participate of stuff and hoping them do the same work as five-day week did which stuff may made more mistakes as a result. These directly challenges the reading passage that the new option will relax the stuff and add the opportunities of employees.


Finally, the speaker raises the issue that the option may increase the risk of work in that employees have rest too much couldn't ensure the quality of work.Hence,this point refute the opinion demonstrated in the reading passage.that more free time will reduce the pressure of stuff which make work more efficient


Consequently,the content displayed in the reading passage are entirely rejected by the lecture.

重听了一遍原文，我觉得第二点·是·老板由于第一点节约成本·而不招新人，让员工们work overtime ·然后worse ·提高期望·希望他们4天完成5天的工作· 于是·没有增加新的工作岗位。

the speaker raises the issue that the option may increase the risk of work in that employees have rest too much couldn't ensure the quality of work（sectence hard to follow,楼主再读一下这句子，有问题） 恩·· 这句删掉也可以，
第三点·我也写错了·改为：
finaly,the speaker raises the issue that  the new option may increases the risk of work. Ability  could not improve entirely by less time of work.Otherwise,it's easer to lose chances of promotion because boss prefer the employees worked five days a week which are more stable.

恩，你后来又听的那遍第二段理解的是对的，照着那个改写吧。

(这句话还是很奇怪，谁的ability不能够被证明了？缺主语。。。) Otherwise, it's easer to lose chances of promotion because boss prefers the employees worked five days a week which are more stable.
最后一段的驳斥观点是不会改善员工的生活质量反而会降低，有三点原因：1. Working a shorter week can decrease the worker’s working ability; 2. Four-day employees may become the first to lose their jobs during an economic downturn; 3. They may also be passed over for promotions because the company might prefer to have five-day employees in management position.
