想了想,还是现在写点心得吧,本来是想拖到晚上的,但是现在的思想可是热乎的呢~
从10点开始改小组的作文,给2个G友改,花了2个小时。。。汗
看了不同的文章,虽然大家刚起步,句型的变化也好,逻辑结构也罢,what else,都显得比较稚嫩,但最重要的是思想,看到了不同的破题思路,令我还是很有收获的。
Argument 242整理下我们小组写到过的攻击
一。.质疑survey(大部分人说在honor code下不会作弊)
1.取样的代表性和随机性问题,是否考虑到了人数、年级、性别、及其他因素(有没有可能刚好抽到的是一类人,比如成绩都很好、有良好的学习习惯等)
2.回答的真实性问题,这个survey的形式是匿名还是实名制(如问卷),是否是面对面的采访,如果这样,会存在不实的回答(常识,人们不愿承认不诚实的行为),使调查效度受质疑
3,即使调查是真实的,但人们可能“说一套做一套”,因为调查时人们不处于考试的真实情境,在考试时形势所迫。
二。数据问题
1.文章只给出了第一年和第五年的数据,那么第二第三第四年的数据呢,是都存在2-4年作弊案是一直上升,而第五年突然下降的巧合;又或者1-5年间数据的起伏很大,直到第五年都没有足够证据可以推测将来的下降或上升趋势
2.它因造成数据的变动。1)学生人数减少 2)学生为取得更好的成绩私下达成协议,选择包庇作弊者,或者避免造成因举报引发的人际纠纷 3)科技进步,选择用高科技手段作弊,降低了暴露的发生 4)考试难度变化(变简单),或者惩罚措施的加强 5)学生的素质提高或者是诚信意识加强
3. 21和14这2个数据仅仅只是同学间互相揭发的作弊案数,不包括老师发现的,所以是不完整的数据
三。类比问题
1.即使现在honor code在G大有效,不表示将来也有效
2.学校情况不同,惩罚制、考试难易等等不同,也许某学校学生是否会抵制honor code 的实施(我把它归到校园文化可以不?)
我之前有模板,所以我觉得我的文章很八股。。。所以今天特地看了下斑斑irvine666 的同主题习作~真的不是一个档次!!!!没什么模板的痕迹,链接很自然,句式变化也好。我抠几个句子下来学学好了~

Without a significantly large sample pool, one would require great act of will to trust a survey. Generally speaking, as is self-evident, a survey related to education is useful only when it manages to deputize general will of all students. Unfortunately, for the author might intentionally conceal the number of the respondents, it is reasonable for readers to suspect the representativeness of the survey. (到次句为止都是在谈代表性中的样本容量,下句开始谈其他和代表性相关的因素。我觉得我就很难分清楚,总把容量和其他因素混在一起写,很没层次。而斑斑用了moreover的连接,就觉得过渡很自然了)Moreover, the grade and gender of the students have been undeserved overlooked. Were the interviewees limited in one or several groups sharing similar study customs? If those who preferred not to cheat are mainly students in grade one, or if majority of the example were girls who enjoyed attending class and doing homework, the will of respondents could hardly represented that most students would not take part in speculation any more. Since the author simply slipped these issues, the survey he cited appears to be insufficient to bolster his judgment of students' attitude toward the honor code.
5.尤其喜欢斑斑的插入语和分词的伴随状语!
What is more, even if the honor code of GC verified to be an effective approach to inhibit and eliminate cases of cheating, to generalize its experience to every college, being blind to the differences in educational level, is skeptical. The average degree of difficulty of tests, as is apparent, should be taken into account.
我在这里想起一个短语:turn a blind eye to sth 对sth视而不见,也许可以用到吧,对应斑斑的分词短语~
PS 要去看专业书了,今天是静下心来看了AW的,以前总是打开好几个网页,总想着等一下一定看这个看那个,结果什么都没看,浪费了时间。今天是把斑斑以前发了的帖认真的看了下,再看了下rvine666 的习作,对照自己才写的Argument,觉得还满有差距的~
突然觉得今天晚上和下午的负担好重。。。我的单词和难句,还有economist。。。话说我economis还一篇没看。。。昨天把网打开了,结果马上熄灯了。。。今天要补上!!! |
