In my country, China, there is a old said that:"Teachers are the second parents of children." That is a meaningful idea, and I think it observes the fact about the function of teachers for children and for education. In the meantime, doctors, lawyers or business leaders are play the significant roles in societies. Seeing as this fact, I think it is necessary to realize teachers' salary are same as these other workers.

Teachers play an important role in people's adolescence. Generally speaking, a child should go to kindergarten or nersery after his/her third birthday. From that time, child start to contact with teachers. With the child's growing up, he/she will meet many diverse teachers, each of them teach the child diverse subject, they together working on child's acquiring knowledge. They build the possibility of child being a doctor, a lawyer or a business leader as well as they build the solid
knowledge foundation. (这里我想说的是他们为孩子成为医生，律师，商业头子创造了可能；但是我写的好像不对，麻烦修改的同学帮忙改一下吧，提前谢了~)

Another character of teachers is selflessness. For instance, teachers would teach students all of his/her knowledge without any reservation. In an other word, when students come up with a question, teachers would not teach them until students understand the question totally. It can help students improve their abilities of study and their creationary thought.

The most valuable symble of teachers is not a character, that is a consequence of subtle influence. Nowadays, no matter what nationality you are, unless you are not a student, you should spend most of your time of everyday except holidays to stay at school with your teachers, and so does your teachers. So, during the time you get though the time with your teachers, your teachers’ positive characters will deeply affect you at any time. That is unvaluable as well as a gift from your teachers. After that, students will change themselves enormously, and they will be stronger than before.

In one word, teachers give their students not only numberless knowledge, but also the principle of life, just by active motion. In my opinion, tt can’t be scale by anything. But for their hard work, they deserve to be paid at least as much as doctors, lawyers or business leaders. And being one of numerous students, I really appreciate my teachers.
