Accompanied with the rapid development of society, daily life seems to speed up surprisingly all the while. People always deal with different things in a short time. What is a common scene is that a housewife is typing on the keyboard, leaving bread in the oven and clothing in a washing machine. With the help of technology most people argue that they can cope with problems perfectly in a hurry. However, after taking all aspects into account, I still deem that being busy, individual cannot handle his/her business well. In the first place, so busy is a person that he/she rarely has time to consider in detail, which probably results in oversight. Individual in a hectic life pays more attention to whether these tasks will be finished in time than how well he/she handles them. It is the busyness that brings on carelessness. For instance, last month I had an appointment with a friend at Starbuck. That morning I must have my breakfast, dress up and pack the gift all in 5 minutes. But when I arrived at the subway, I disappointedly found that the gift with package was still on the table home. How embarrassed I am! If I had more time to prepare, I would be on the road with the gift. In addition, the busy condition often makes little room for the accidents. Busyness means no time to add another incident or deal with an exception. As the proverb goes "You never know what will happen next". If people do not prepare for the unwelcome accidents, how can they hope that tasks will be accomplished successfully? For example, in my 10th birthday party, father was engaged in decorating house and choosing snacks. Unluckily the power supply was cut off that night. But my mother prepared enough candles for a whole night. Without the wittiness of my mom, my busy father surely faced a dilemma. As can been seen from above discussion, people in a hurry have higher probability to overlook certain step or be hindered by unexpected situation. So, do not busily treat with different affairs if people long for a satisfying ending. |
