At the sametime, on the ground that not only it seems to takes less efforts and time to unscramble the documents  by video camero ,that is ,you can almost do nothing but just press the starter button, than do by written records ,but also the video camero presents vivitd images which combine hearing and seeing, written records appears in the shade as another form of documentation. However, each of the video camera and written records has its own strong points in some respects accordingly.

In addition, sometimes written records are more attractive than video considering that expressing some emotions ,which can touch a string more easily by words, is a big challenge for video. As an accurate form of documentation ,meantime, the video also constrain the space for people's imagination.The words can inspire people's differernt imagination according to their own understanding while vivid but fixed images can destroy the aesthetic feeling, which has to be viewed as a pity. Thereby, it's common to see that is seems the biography of Caesar is more popular than its adoptable film.As a result, written records is still of much significance in contemporary life.

Moreover, some elements should be taken into account with the use of the video camera.How many people can afford such high prices if the video camera is more advocated? Given the high costs, I think a number of families would prefer writtern records,such as diaries to record their life. Furthermore, clear and accurate images recorded by video camera set a high level to the situation and the post production. Without doubt, people always are confronted with some problems in the process of videography in reality, such as lack of enough of light, too much noise in the ambient environment, shake of the video camera which leads to  wonky images ,which have to be minimized as much as possible to get satisfactory records. Then ,afer videography, there comes the post production for ameliorating the quantity of the records, such as dealting with the problems mentioned above or deleting some scenes. Whereas, it requires high computer equipment, such as EMS memory, large content of hard dis, which means an additional expense for reocrds without the cost of videro camera. Not only these, more efforts also should be taken for the maintence for the video camera ,which involves proteion against dampness, moisture, shock ,high temperature and care for batteries, camera lens, video tapes and liquid ctystal box. Clearly, there is more to consider despite of its accurateness and conviceness which the video camera brings.

To sum up,  both the forms of documentation, video and wriitern records, are equally vital to our contemporary life on accoount their differnent appliance. What's more, I think it makes no sense to make a distinguishment - which is more important. It is up to huaman to decide which one is more suitable as a form of documentation or whether they are complementary under certain circumstance.
