急！我从来没遇到过的买车情况，怎么办？

我用邮件告诉我的朋友这样的情况，以下是我打的英文：

I've seen the car and taken it to a trusy chinese mechanic. Everything looks fine. I went to the seller's place. They seems like good people.

The only thing I am not sure is , the sellers said they bought the car by a car loan. So they need me to pay off the $4750 , which is the amount they own the bank, to get the title back and then transfer the title to me.Since I am insecure about giving them the money without title, they suggest they are willing to come up with a form affidavit and spell out the transaction. As for the money, they said if I am doubtful, I could just get a money order from the DMV (or bank? i forgot) instead of writing a check to them. But still, I've never deal with this thing before. Do you think it's safe to do so?

不同地方的车价也不一样吧，这或许就是为什么在查价的时候要输入ZIP CODE的原因吧。

be careful about the car loan. it could kill your money by legally restraining the transaction periods. check by yourself the nature of the car loan. if it's from a private source like Uncle Charlie at some sort of Kentucky village, call them and make sure that the seller had not yet destroyed their loan credit due to late payment. check local DMV whether there is any restraining order issued to cross-pass the title transfer stuff privately.

btw, 5000 is way too HIGH for such a car. park avenue with V6 is badly gas consuming. the reasonable price would be falling into the range of 3500-4000.

楼上的相当专业。我不是接过他们的CAR LOAN继续付钱，而是他们还差4750元就可以拿到TITLE，现在他们想买新车所以他们希望我把钱还了，FINANCIAL SERVICE那边把他们的TITLE RELEASE了，然后他们 就可以把TITLE 转移给我了。
