SUBJECT: HK$ 20,000 / month fellowship: Ph.D. study in Hong Kong

A doctorate-study fellowship can be available for doctorate
study in electronic & information engineering at the Hong Kong
Polytechnic University. The details are as follows:


SPECIALTY:
Signal processing, or wireless communications (physical layer)


REMUNERATION :
Monthly stipend of HK$20,000 for 36 months.
Annual (conference) travel allowance of HK$10,000.
Waiver of all tuition.
(Presently, HK$ 1.00 ~ 0.88 RMB)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:
> 85 average mark (cumulatively) in bachelor degree
> 85 average mark (cumulatively) in masters degree

The masters degree must be from one of these universities:
Fudan University
Nanjing University
Peking University
Shanghai Jiaotong University
Tsinghua University
University of Science & Technology of China
Wuhan University
Zhejiang University

At least one journal-paper published or accepted for
publication in an IEEE journal (not conference), with the
applicant as the 1st or 2nd author.

All above requirements are non-negotiable.
