To human being, the history is significantly important that it cannot be neglected. From learning about the history of something happened, we could clearly understand the truth and reality. It can also lead people to a bright and conspicuous development, while making them be distinct from the illiterate.
At the beginning, through studying carefully the history in different period of time, people can realize that they share nearly same traits. For example, the government is established for the same purpose which serves the dominators.
And all the different epoch people try their best to pursuit the freedom and democracy separately. The well known person, Gandhi who was the father of India, contributed all his life to the freedom and democracy of India, he kept his ideology peaceful solution for the independent of India in his life. And his spirit influenced a lot of people. We still remember that one of greatest man Martin Luther King, Jr. devoted his whole life to acquire the equal right, freedom, and democracy. He never stopped until he sacrificed for the rectitude of the United States. In addition, in nowadays America, various people continue to look for their right, their freedom, their democracy, only different in styles.
Furthermore, carefully and deeply investigating the history can make people know the truth of something that tangle people a long time. For example, the General of People Republic of China, Biao, Lin, has being regarded as the negative profile for his intriguing to murder the greatest man Ma, Zedong. For his fault to profane our greatest leader, most of us believe he was absolutely bad man. However, after looking up some history books and inquiring some old people who were right involved in that case, Biao, Lin contributed a lot to build the new country. He had once injured, lead a lot of people to defeat so many enemies and won at last in any case. Therefore, we should estimate and evaluate a person in every aspect as much as possible.
Besides, to many people, they still remind the Los Angeles riot. I won't state it if I don't need complete the essay. It is a serious tragedy that many people don't want to remind it. Some people died in the riot, some people injured, some people migrated from that place where the riot happened for ever. A lot of people are deceived by the appearance of the riot, because the black man was hit and injured seriously. Scrutinizing the case from every aspect, we gradually get to know that the fact is really different from that we heard or saw. If the people who were involved in that case can soberly elucidate the case and investigate it carefully, then deeply analyze it, the consequence may be different. We can analyze the riot clearly and thoroughly according to the data collected from various channels. Therefore, the history can help us get known the truth and reality.
Last but not least, relative to the origin of human being, a lot of scientists argue that it originates from Asia, some others acclaim it begins from Africa. The scientists and archeologists try their best to accumulate the benefit evidence to support their viewpoint. Every new discovery from them, we also have a new knowledge about the origin of human being, and the knowledge about the archeology improve very well. I believe the theory still proceed, a distinct origin of human being may be appeared some day.
All in all, the history helps people a lot  carefully and clearly to recognize the truth and reality. It can make people eliminate the dated thought and false mind, and get them out of confused and vague things. When people grasp the function of history, they also grab the truth and reality.
