for permenant residence. providing parents' address is OK. It is not serious.

My Lg's ISO advisor did not want to give me much help, maybe I am not a student here. He suggested me not to go to Mexico for denied risk.(those words they have said for three years) What surprised is he suggested me to transfer my status in Vermont. But I found that Vermont only accepts applicants residing in XXXX, I live in AZ. according to their policy, I should transfer my status in CA. What about you, friends?

I will call my university in May. I can not find a clear answer here. That's what I got today.

Yes, it is more troublesome for us. The place my graduate school located belongs to Texas Center. But where I am living now belongs to CA center.  According the I-539 form " If you live in Arizona, California...., mail your application to CA center", we should send our application materials to CA center. One of my friends who accepted by ISU,  she sent her application to CA center.   Hope  that information is useful to you.

我还是不死心，还是想去墨西哥签证。一看到这么多材料要准备，我头都大了。而且，LG's boss下学期可能没有钱了，她拒绝给现在所有的学生签合同。合同要到8月签，所以我也担心奖学金现在拿不到，通过INS转会有问题。

不过现在-20还没有到，继续关注。

对了，其实时间也没有那么长，因为我给我的学校打电话时，有个告诉我，CA一般2个月，当然还有一个人告诉我要4-5个月，但是我宁愿倾向第一个数字，因为我觉得第一个人比较有experience。当然，从准备的角度看，第二个数字会不时地督促我们。:)

我也觉得coffeebreak既然住在Arizona（am I right?)，那么应该在CA center transfer。如果录取学校和现在所在地不归一个center,那么应该是按现在的residence的。我记得这个问题大家以前好像讨论过的。
