TOPIC: ISSUE94 - "Universities should require every student to take a variety of courses outside the student's field of study because acquiring knowledge of various academic disciplines is the best way to become truly educated."  Since the various courses unversities open up nowadays,the choose for the colleges seems wilder.And the necessary wheather the students should  take a variety of courses outside is suspect by many people.However my answer towards this question is yes.

  At first,Universities are considered as an so important part of eduction that few people doubt its effect on one's life.  In universities,we form our society enthic,our academic structure,our social ability.And it is not exaggerate that university education can determine which kind of people we are going to be.

  Since the importance of the university education,the educationer must make students recieve as much useful knowledge as possible.How the word ‘useful’ definted here?Is only the knowledge that relevant to one's major is useful?From the awarding list of the Nobel Prize,we can know that few scientist can abtain acevment if he only know the knowledge fin his acdemic area.Biologics maybe also specialized at chemistry or mathematicians maybe fond of philosophy. The extend of knowedge can decides one's sight as well as the range of his research in his academic area and the completeness of knowledge strcture.

  There is another cause that it is better to receive knowledge of various academic disciplines,quite a few students know little about the disciplines they choose,or have no intersting towards the disciplines.While the knowledge of various academic disciplines can help make comparation and them find themselves,where their favors lie in,what are their advantages.Only after this comparation and determine the students may find a suitable means of learning.

  As art can develop one's humanistic quality ,science can train one's resonal thinkings,many presidents of the uiversities consider that both art and science courses are enssiential for all students nomatter which major he is in,and the various of courses is important.Besides,many universities which provide more various courses than before to meet students' needs receive a fine result,and students show clearlier and larger interesting than before.

According from a recently report from the student office of the UL University,as they have provided more various crouses for students to chose,and have required its students to get more scores in the crouses of other disciplines,the number of the applications has a apparent rise,and the questionare sent to the students in UL College about their attitudes towards the change,89.2 percent of students show their idorsation on this change,and 60.4 percent of students think that university should implement this change more thoroughly.
Albeit,the educater should take notice to the various of degrees that is acquired to each courses and to each student.Since every person’s energy is limitid,the educater should bring out an apposite distribution to all these disciplines to every person and this may led student to have a better arrangement about their courses,and help them to abtain lots of various knowledge as well as to do well in the academic area.

All in all,the deversity of the students’courses is important,and universitieds should sustain students to learn various displines.While,the universities also have the ability to help every student make a perfect arrangement towards all his crouses.
