TOPIC: ISSUE153 - "Students should bring a certain skepticism to whatever they study. They should question what they are taught instead of accepting it passively."

In our country , a tremendous number of parents get a feeling that teachers are always teachers , their students should obey and thihnk in the  exactly way what  they told them , however , I ,along with the speaker ,  hold the same opinion that the adolescent must have their own comprehension towards  some knowledge points with skepticism which would definitely encourage their motivation to continue doing further research . Yet, in the other hand , it is not suitable for students to question the professor all the time , in all conditions in the very beginning of the period in which we are just ready to form our learning system .
Continuous questioning , thinking , and being suspicious of what the teacher impart is an indispensable factor  leads to academic success . Gaining more opportunities to independent thinking , junior would come up with many creative findings and deal with them ultilizing their knowledge from textbook . Like a famous mathematician in China , Chen Jing run , did not  just accept what his teacher taught him, but never stopped asking himself the simplest and the most complicated question---- what is the reason that " 1+1=2 " . Ever since the day he noticed this , he almost devoted all his spare time into the puzzle  with every single piece of math resource he acquired , and finally , achieved his goal successfully.
For the majority part of the teachers , mistakes are inescapable during their daily teaching progress . Hence , students must process an ability to analysis a problem and take  a certain situation into consideration properly and independently . As a survey conducted by the Chinese Academic Institution in 2006 , showed that the academic skeptical ones performed much more creative actions and did better in the examinations than the conservative ones who did not use to asking questions during or after classes among the 996 students in a senior-high school in Wu Han City .
What I'm trying to assert is not mean that instructors are trustless ,adolescent could not rely on them in any condition .  Over-reacted skepticism and frequently oppugn would have negative impact on  formation of our  learning system . Especially , when we contact a brand-new theory the first time , we should trust the introduction the professor claims after which we build our own understanding towards the theory . That is to say , in most conditions , professors are reliable in the teaching programs . Their knowledge capacity , work experience  are more than we can image , so suspect  their academic ability all the time is not a recommended method to improve students' performance  , either does a deep understanding of a key-point .
From what have been discussed above ,it is not difficult to conclude that skepticism plays an important role in forming creative thinking , getting better comprehension of knowledge , and pushing the development of technology finally . Whereas, it  depends on different situations and conditions as well .
