advisor problem, please help!!!

I'm in a Master's program in chemistry right now and will be done in May 2010, my advisor is an assistant professor with no research funding and refuses to give me a TA from the department, and said that he doesn't care if his students will quit because of not being able to pay for tuition and fees (one of his PhD students is going to sit out for a year because of lack of funding, and he didn't try his best to find this PhD student a TA!). He's really nasty. I really want to get a TA from the department so to gain some experiences, also to save some money for schools next year.

My question is: is it worthy to change to another advisor and get a TA and start all over again?

Please give me some suggestions if you could, thank you.


BTW: be careful with choosing advisors!

别的导师也不一定会给你RA或者帮你争取TA。
换一个导师可能会有别的好处。
