1没有上司监督,27%青年还是会有效率提高,没有说明其他年轻人在没有监督下的情况就没有提高,完全可能是在没有监督的情况下互相帮助有提高。2有上司监督,青年提高快,老人提高慢,所以就要雇佣老年的,因为可以节约监督成本;但是 或许老人已经到了一定水平,有无监督已经对能力的影响不大了;或许青年有较大的提升潜质,越监督,越有效益;同时,没有给出在监督前青年和老年人的工作效益是多少3, 对调查的数字基数没有给
  In this article, the writer makes a suggestion to the president of Professional Printing Company. He points out that the more old employees we would hire, the higher productivity we could get. What’s more, the money could be saved from reducing the needs for supervisors. For me, I could not agree with his from three points as followings.
  Firstly, the writer doesn’t provide the information of increasing of productivity among these three dimensions of people they would make without the immediate superiors. It is quite possible that the youngest employees improve their productivity efficiency without the superiors. As green hands of the company, they would have several mistakes should be improved when they manipulate the machines under the supervisors. They could help each other and improve productivity greatly. Oppositely, the older employers are much more skilled and the productivity might not improve clearly in the presence of the supervisors.
  Secondly, even if the productivity increased obviously with hiring more old employers, we could not regard that young employers should be hired decreasingly. With the help of the supervisors, what mistakes the young employers correct would improve the efficiency of working in the future. Undoubtedly, the older employers would be retired. How could the company keep on going for their productivities? If they mainly hire old employers, the expense would be higher than those who have nothing experience. Therefore, the conclusion that hiring old employers would save money should be unsubstantiated.
  Thirdly, the writer has not provided enough figures to make us believe that the information is truthful. If the number of youngest employers they have surveyed is larger than the other two dimensions of employers, the survey does not have representative ness.
  To sum up, the conclusion lacks credibility because the evidence the cited in the analysis do not provide strong support to what the arguer claims. To strength the argument, the arguer has to use the sample which contains more participants. To better evaluate the argument, the arguer needs to rule our others possibilities that may result in the same consequence.
