ISSUE35 - "No matter what the situation, it is more harmful to compromise one's beliefs than to adhere to them."
Some escapists insist that no matter what the situation, it is mroe harmful to compromise one's beliefs than to adhere to them. As a pragmatist, I can n't try to agree with their viewpoint, I think the damage of insistence or compromise one's belief cann't extremely concluded, it should be analyed case by case.
Under the condition,  that individual beliefs are in conflict with the benefits of the majority of people  which seem to reasonable and partial, it is necessary for us to compromise our individual beliefs. For example,  at the time that a new plan is needed to facilitate the development of a company, many such plans will be yield out, and the best one will be chosen and ament to fulfill the needs of the company, so except the successful one, other designers all come to be  losers, under this condition, what they should do is just to compromise their beliefs that their plan are good, to accept the chosen one, if they not, eventually, they can find that they are injuried by their own obstination.

In another situations, that when the indivual beliefs pluge into the conflication with the fashionable viewpoints, which seems to be wrong or ridiculous, it is our duty to insist on our individual beliefs. There are hundreds of thousands of examples about the ones who insist on their individual beliefs, which finnaly be proved to be right, but in their times, their beliefs were considered to be heresay, their workpieces were circumscribed, they were octrized, even killed, it seems to at their times it is harmful for them to adhere to their individual beliefs, but when it been taken into the long river of human history, we can find that they benefit from their adhesion of their individual beliefs, as they are respects and records as great men in human momeory.
Most of the time, it always seems that the majority of people are blind to many facts or truism, as a cultivated man, in the highly developed, domercratic, we should learn to on one hand inisit on our individual beliefs, on the other hand compromise them to avoid harm. As a old saying goes: hundreds of thousands of roads goes to Roman. It is unnecessary for us at a concret time to insist on our individual beliefs, attention: I just don't mean to give up or compromise our individual beliefs in necessary, but to table these beliefs, and express them or insist on them at the time that is suitable. Just like one of your friend makes a mistake, but at the time, or he is in so bad a emotion to take you advices, or he would be hurted if you point out his mistake in front of so many other poeple, if it is me, I will choose another time when he has a good emotion, and tell him when he made a mistake before.
In conclusion,I think we should analyze the harm of compromising or adhering to one's individual beliefs. When it comes to the situations that compromise can benefit the whole group or the whole society, I think it is necessary; but when when it comes to the situation that comprosise would hurt the whole group or others,I think it is harmful. We also should learn to skilledly insist on or compromise our individual beliefs.
