As for methods, there is a common spirit for industrious engineer that every problem has the best way to solve. I agree with so. However, if you ask me, which is better solution to problem between being creative and planning carefully, my answer would be it depends.

To begin with, being creative is helpful and encouraging when we facing difficulties and challenge. Being creative make us feel relaxed and calm, which could resolve dispel and stimulate enthusiasm. For example, here is a joke which is a proper evidence for it. When you enter in a room in hotel, to your surprise, find a woman was changing her clothes. What will you do? Sorry, Miss, I had got into the wrong room? Most people could think of how frustrated this miss will be. But instead, if you say, “Sorry, Mr., I had got into the wrong room”, both of would feel ok. Being creative help us deal with problem we suddenly encounter in short time, just as above joke. It is like short length run, with explosive strong and speed quick. On the other hand, it is necessary to pay attention to that being creative needs cumulativeness. In my opinion, I might hold the frustrated situation taking about in the front, if we had not listened or faced similar dilemma. Therefore, no cumulativeness, no creativeness.

Language is a kind of convention used to communicate by people. We could not make up words and phrases as we like, in which way, it is impossible to tell others our opinions. Even though being creative could not work on learning English, it is indispensable when we are taking TOEFL test.

To some sense, being creative and planning carefully have very important correlation. It is used to planning carefully when we do preparation and being creative when we tackle problems. Several days later, the term final test would come. How can students perform on it? It mainly depends on what they have learned during the term curriculum plan. But if students went down to prepare upcoming test and being creative on test, they also could get better scores. Thus, being creative and planning carefully could add benefit for final performance both. During different period, it has different weight.

All in all, if there is no time left, faced with problem, being creative could find best way to solve it. While planning carefully is a better way if you have a lot of time to become better. Both are good way for better performance.

Every day, we need to make decision for the problems we meet and challenges we face. If encountering these things, what should we do? Decide by ourselves or look for help from others? Some people argue that it is better to get advice from peers, while another say friends elder than us could give more help. In my opinion, no matter peers or friends elder than us, all could benefit us greatly. And, it is too haste to tell which one is more useful before comparing the advantages and disadvantages of both ways.

To begin with, peers could better understand our dilemma, since they suffer similar situation with us at the same time. Take me for example. As a student, there are final exams in every term. So are my classmates. Therefore, many times, we work together and help each other. When there are some problems one of us does not hold well, we discuss. After doing exercises, we compare our answers with each other, because there are not standard answers. By doing this, we could broaden eyes and better understand related concepts and principles.

On the other hand, peers may not have enough time or ability to help us, for they are at same position. However, friends elder than us could offer good ideas for us, if they have leisure time. Obviously, friends elder than us have many experiences and perhaps they undergo the same difficulties. Also use exams in university for example. When I was freshman, my brother in senior tells me, Physics and Advanced Mathematics are the most important subjects which should pay more endeavor on. According to his advice, at the end of that term, I have little problems in preparing for these two subjects, because I have try my best on them at routine time. Unfortunately, some of my classmates fail in the end, even if they work hard at the term end, for they miss too classes and homework. My brother’s advice benefits me greatly, owing him my sincere thanks.

Comparing with peers’ advices, elder friends’ advices are more of strategy. They could persuade us to do something but they could not help us in details. They could inspire us and give us confidence, but they do not stand with us in the process. That is to say, elder friends could help us walk on the right direction and reduce faults on the road. To this sense, elder friends’ advices are valuable. In the perspective from concrete skills, peers’ advices may be more helpful. Elder friends are like coach, and we and our peers are the athletes. Coach give the distribution, basic skills are our responsibility.

Overall, to some sense, elder friends are apt to give more valuable advices on strategy. They really could help us much. However, on the other fields, like concrete problems, we should consider peers’ advice, since it is more in details.

With private car increasing common usage, there are many problems followed. The city become more and more congested, and people expend a lot of time on the road to work and other journey. Therefore, we must do something to change this situation. Someone argues that public transportation should given more investment, while others support to develop highways. In my opinion, it is to haste to decide which should be stressed, unless we know their advantages and disadvantages.

To begin with, public transportation has got many attentions from various countries all over the world, no matter developed or developing country. Public transportation includes bus, train, subway and plane may be. Public transportation is a very economical and convenient way to travel, if it is well designed. Also, public transportation could eliminate the gas pollution from cars, which occupies a big portion of nowadays pollution. Public transportation help reduce congestion greatly, which is common accepted in the present too. Take the bus system of Beijing for example. In Beijing, transit is very developed. It is said that common people could get to any position of this city through converting bus only once. In 2008, the 29th Olympic Games were held in Beijing. Much money was used to construct the subway system, which increases the attraction of this city's transit. No matter when you go down to the subway station, you could see numerous people going and coming.

On the other hand, highways are an express way to enforce one country's economy and society strength. In the first place, it takes along with hundreds of thousands work positions, which could add the income of common citizens. Secondly, it builds closer relationship and increases interaction between different districts. However, it could only used by those wealthy people who have cars in our country. Thus, it is unfair for poor people. It is also to say that building highways could not eliminate congestion encountered by many cities. Even more，building more highways induces more transportation demand, which could further deteriorate congestion.

It is easier to conclude that improving public transportation could benefit every citizen, while building highways only take benefits to wealthy people; Public transportation could help to reduce congestion, but highways could not and what is more, it doctorates congestion. Also, public transportation could prevent air pollution, however, highways add transportation demand, which causes more pollution. In this sense, I support improve public transportation. Even if highways do not work better than public transportation, I suggest building it, if there were enough money, because it could contribute great to economy and society, as talk about above.

As is well known to us, the teacher is an admirable and respectable career. Bred under parents’ attention, we are cultivated with the teachers’ help. If you ask me which is important for teachers, good relationship with students or professional knowledge, I would response both. The reasons are as follows.

To begin with, we grow up and get more realization on us and the world with the help of teachers. No matter whom, from kids to youngsters, almost all attend schools to get education. As for schools, which is the important resource? The teacher. A school could not have good education condition and instruments, but must own professional teachers. From elementary school to high school until university and institute, all teachers are professional in China, which is a basic requirement to be a teacher. Kindergarten aunts must accept training on how to care about kids and avoid accidents; Elementary school teachers have to learn education theory, which tells them how to make students better understand knowledge; High school teachers are trained strictly and compete fiercely, because their students face challenge to admission to university; University and institute teachers are experts in their field. Thus, to be a teacher, after be professional.

On the other hand, only professional could not guarantee teachers work effectively and efficiently. They must keep good relationship with students and communicate with them during teaching process. If the relationship between teachers and students is bad, students will not focus on lectures. The effect of class would be dissatisfied, not less to say learning efficiency. My Operation Research teacher in university is not an easy going man. Every time, he came after the class bell and said nothing, then he continued to write on the blackboard equations. However, he never explained what it mean, which made us sad and frustrated all. I did not understand why he taught as that. In the end, nearly everyone did other things on his class, listening to music, chatting with friends using mobile phone, or learning English. Most of students failed at final tests, unfortunately.

Finally, it is very comfortable and successful to join in those teachers’ classes, who communicate with teacher. In these classes, every time, teachers teach a concept, they would ask some problems about it, making sure it held by almost everyone. Sometimes, teachers also tell some stories and anecdotes, which keep class living and interesting. In high school Chemical class, one day, our teachers asked us to taste one fluid without color and smell. He did it first, and then he smiled. Follows all did like him. However, we all made faces. Actually, he did not put the finger put in fluid in mouth but everyone else did do. He told us the importance of careful observation, which impressed me and others.

In a word, to be a good teacher, keeping good relationship with students and being professional are both necessary. With well communicating to students, professional could make their classes effective and efficient.

Does it need to impose tax on busy road?

With the increasing usage of privacy car, congestion becomes a huge problem faced by modern people. Everyday, for those workers taking personal cars to company, it is usual for them to expand much time in congestion road. Therefore, some experts argue it is necessary to impose tax on those busy roads. In my opinion, tax is an accepted way to solve this problem at short time. However, other resolutions must be proposed.

To begin with, tax is a common and useful way to allocate finite resources in our society. For those limited resources, demands overcome supply. According to economical theory, the price of them would rise. However, for common supply, like infrastructure, it is supply by government using taxers’ money. All citizens are equal to take use of it. In that situation, tax is available. Because tax not only frustrate some demands, but also could be collected to construct more equipment. Road is a kind of infrastructure. Collecting tax on congestion road could oppress some demands turn to other un-congestion road and add the finance to new construction. Kill two birds at one word.

On the other hand, there are other problems taken along with tax. In the first place, do those demands left are more needy to congestion road than those oppressed out? The road should be used by people who need most, not those who are richer. At the same time, it may be unfair for poor people. These people care more about expanse on road. Tax could not be tolerated by them.

Finally, tax is not a way to deal with congest for ever. The basic reason causing congestion is transportation demands, mainly personal cars. Cars are convenient for people because of privacy and quickness. However, congestion causes it is slow to take it. Public transportation is a solution, which is realized by many governments nowadays. In the past tens years, public transportation becomes a focus in the reason of congestion. Several days ago, I saw a Canada small town plan to build transit in order to eliminate congestion, which is also taking place in other areas.

In conclusion, tax is an available way to eliminate congestion at short time. However, other ways need too. Public transportation is a common accepted solution by many governments at present.

With the increasing population, more land is needed to food planting and house buliding. As a result, numerous trees are chopped and the world forests become in crisis. Can we let this go on withous any resolutions? No! Forests are the foundation of all creations , which is not only essential for other animials but also important for us human being. Therefore, we should endeavor to protect it.
To begin with, forests are a indisputable part of ecology circle. The photosynthesis of trees turns dioxide to oxygen, which keeps the balance of air composition. Trees play an important role in the water circle also.Beside that, trees help to make soil stay, which is the foundation of plants planting.

On the other hand, forests are the homeland of various animilals. If forests disappear, these animial would also be extinct because of the loss of habitats. All creations are created equally. We could and should not deprive the existing conditions just for our indefinate desire. Some of these animals are not realized by us, and many of them are invaluable. we could learn much from them. For example, several years ago, scientist discovered a kind of monkey use special leaves to eliminate pains and cure wounds. After experients, it could work to human being as well. A new medicine then show up. If such animals become extinct before being realized, we could miss the opportnities to more useful and benefitable discoveries.

Finally, forests are a important rescource for our study, life and work. The books widely use all around the world are produced by trees. So are The newpapers we read everyday. If there are no trees left, we lose a kind of instument materials. No wood furture, and no piano, guitar, violin. Painting could not be done. Music could not be performanced.In a word,  We  would face more difficultis in economic, social life, literature, art ,music and so on.

In conclusion, we have to work together to protect forests. If one day, forests disppeared because of our no resulitons, all creations on the earth would meet disaster and so as our human being.

Work for money or happiness?

As for work, different people have different attitudes. Some work for money, so as to support family and their routine expanse. Others think it is a pleasure to work. In my opinion, both of money and happiness are important for workers.

To begin with, as society and economics development, modern people face more burden than the past. Almost all kinds of necessories we need are bought from market, from food to clothes, from dewelling to transportation. Also, children education is a big cost for parents, which becomes expensive in China, nowadays. In some place, kindergarten tuition is two even three times of that  for college. If the parents did not earn enought money from work, how can they send their children to kindergarten? Not less to say many useful traning, like dancing, singing, painting and so forth. There, money is a big influent factor for work.

On the other hand, many people work more for happiness. There are numerous volunteers all around the world. They work free. For example, in African, a lot of teachers and doctors work there. If they worked in big cities of their own country, they could get high salary. However, they choose work for those helpless people in the poor areas. In their respect, happiness is more important. Teachers and professors in university are another convinced example. Many of them do experient no matter day or night, read and write papers even if these could not take profit. They persuit truth. The truth and the persuit process make them feel happy.

Finally, in other opinion, happiness could not reached if no money. It makes some sense. For an hungry man, who could not afford money for enough food, it is meaningless to let him consider happiness. For poor people, they accept more woking for money. But for wealth people, happiness may have more utility for them. They consider those work on which happiness could better available.

In conlusion, some people work more for them, others for happiness. Both of money and happiness are important for wokers. Poor people stress more on income while wealth people pay more attention on happiness from work.
