As the speaker suggests, children are the future of society, which I can not agree more, while, as far as I am concerned, the future society can not be absolutely determined merely on how they are brought up. After all, changes are unpredictable and the concepts of individuals depend not only on their education, but also their own thoughts.

With the rapid development of society, problems, be they have already occurred or have been foreseen, calls for the need of perseverance and understanding from an early age. By instructing children the current situation about environment and the efforts made to discover substitute energy source, children will learn the importance of provident, which will also has influence in their further attention to environment problems when they grows up. Moreover, the vision of future society's tensed pressure and competition serves as a motivation for parents to send their kids to wilderness survival programs, with the intention to build up a strong psyche for children to cope well in the future.

However, the process of society is bombing out so many new ideas, which may be beyond the understanding and tolerance of people nowadays, but could possibly be accepted by future generation. Homosexual marriage, for instance, has been strongly objected against for quiet a long time, but is made legal in Germany and Holland several years ago. Similarly, certain notions concerning right and wrong affairs may turn out to be quiet opposite to people in the future. Similarly, though human cloning meets fierce resistance today, who knows whether it will be approved or not if destructive diseases are so pervading that we have no other choice to avoid eradiation in the future?

More importantly, any partial organization or nation trying to seek for so-called "better society", a society merely maximizing their profits, by means of education is doom to fail. Though grown up in an prejudicial atmosphere towards colored people, and taught the notion they are born an inferior race, Martin Luther King hold his dream, also the American dream that all men are born equal, and eventually spread freedom into everyone’s heart. Another example to the point is that the Japanese attempted to gain an forceful control of China through assimilating education during the WW2. Tried as these invaders, the pride for the greatness of the country has always been inspiring Chinese people to won their final victory. Both of the examples above illustrate the fact that future can never be totally determined by the education one received, but by the inside notion and hope for the better society they are longing for.

We could manage to give the kind of education to prepare our children for the future and try to impose notions of what a better society is in our mind, while the new generation will never give up their efforts to pursue the future of theirs. Just as Chairman Mao once said (and I paraphrased), "The future is ours and yours, yet after all, it is yours"

Asthe speaker suggests, children are the future of society, which I cannot agree more, while, as far as I am concerned, the future society cannot be absolutely determined merely on how they are brought up. 既然你非常同意,那为什么还转折呢?我觉得你应该说fundamentally agree with Afterall, changes are unpredictable and the concepts of individuals dependnot only on their education, but also their own thoughts.

Withthe rapid development of society, problems, be be ?they have alreadyoccurred or have been foreseen, calls for the need of perseverance andunderstanding from an early age. By instructing children the currentsituation about environment and the efforts made to discover substituteenergy source, children will learn the importance of provident providence, whichwill also has influence in their further attention to environmentproblems when they grows up. 看到后来说environment的问题,那和providence并无太大关系,不是节俭,是他们对于社会责任感的认识Moreover, the vision of future society'stensed pressure and competition serves as a motivation for parents tosend their kids to wilderness survival programs, with the intention tobuild up a strong psyche for children to cope well in the future.

However, the process of society is bombing out so many new ideas, which may bebeyond the understanding and tolerance of people nowadays, 下一句另起一段吧but couldpossibly be accepted by future generation. Homosexual marriage, for instance, has been strongly objected against for quiet a long time, but is made legal in Germany and Hollandseveral years ago. Similarly, certain notions concerning right andwrong affairs may turn out to be quiet opposite to people in thefuture. Similarly, though human cloning meets fierce resistance objectiontoday, who knows who knows 过于口语化whether it will be approved or not if destructive diseasesare so pervading that we have no other choice to avoid eradiation inthe future?你可以说Whether ... is still a controversial/pending issue.

Moreimportantly, any partial organization or nation trying to seek forso-called "better society", a society merely maximizing their profits,by means of education is doom to fail. Though grown up in anprejudicial atmosphere towards colored people, and taught the notionthey are born an inferior race, Martin Luther Kinghold his dream, also the American dream that all men are born equal, and eventually spread freedom into everyone’s heart. Another example tothe point is that the Japanese attempted to gain an forceful control ofChina through assimilating education during the WW2. Both of theexamples above illustrate the fact that future can never be totallydetermined by the education one received, but by the inside notion andhope for the better society they are longing for.
