The author suggests that the collectors should expect the life-size sculpture to decrease in value and the miniatures to increase in value, and it is because the life-size sculpture was made by mold .To justify the conclusion, he cites the following facts:1) the funding of the molds of human heads and hands in Kali;2) few ancient Kalinese sculpting tool have been found. Although the arguer is well-designed, it is not well-supported due to some logically flaws.

The first flaw has to do with the first deduction that from the found molds of human heads and hands, the author fails to conclude that all the life-size clay statues were made from the molds. It is possible the mold are for other use instead of to make status, or even the head and hand were made by molds but the other parts of status were make by sculpting tool; or perhaps the molds were just used in some statue for the special function, such as festival and the ceremony when the leader was dead, but not used in every statue. Therefore, only through the finding of few molds to manifest the life-size clay statues were made all by molds, the arguer was not well stands.

Secondly, it is not a convincing reason to explain why the miniature status was abstract and different in style. The author simply generalize the molds cannot be used in the small status, so they are certainly in different styles. But dose it exist a possibility that they are use in different place and in different function so they are different? Or whether they were made for different people or made from different people so hardly keeping a common size? Without ruling out all the possible reasons, because they cannot be made in models to explain why they are different seems not convincing to me.

Thirdly, even few sculpting tools have been found, it not indicates that they are seldom used. Perhaps they are just deep in earth or in a secrete place that the archeologist do not find? Not find did not mean not used, such as we are not find chopsticks in ancient China not means ancient Chinese not use the tool. Therefore, based on the fact to conclude that the status are seldom use sculpting tools and then indicate that the value of life-size sculpture will decreased is unreasonable.

Finally, even the above assumptions were true, it does not means a certainly trend about the decrease in value of life-size sculpture and a increase in value of the miniature. The author provides no evidence about the preference of collects, whether they like man-made status without model used? Or the model-make status has a lasting value? Thus, the conclusion lacks evidence to make it believable.

In sum, the author's conclusion seems reasonable, whereas the deduction is unwarranted. To strengthen the arguer, he should provide more evidence to indicate how the statues were made and whether the value of them would change in the future.
