ISSUE154 - "Both parents and communities must be involved in the local schools. Education is too important to leave solely to a group of professional educators."

The author asserts that both parents and communities should be involved in the local schools because education is so significant that should not leave to professional educators only. In my view, on balance, I agree with this assertion because the education is a lifetime study. In addition, what educators teach may be focus on one point but we should learn more. Furthermore, we should believe the education from our teachers who are the professional educators.

First of all, what we should study is not only the knowledge that the teacher gives, but also the knowledge of the society. So we should learn different kind of knowledge which cannot be taught only by professional educators. What educators teach is only focus on the books and so on. So the knowledge is limited on one part. Usually, we have the feeling of knowing nothing when we graduate from school. An increasing number of people have realized the education is a lifetime study which should not be stopped since the graduation. A professor of our philosophy course once said: the society is a large book which will cost our whole life to study and maybe we can only know a small part of it. The education which you get from your teacher is only the means to help you study the society. So the education from teachers is not enough.

But if parents and communities would be involved in the education, we can learn more aspects about the society. The communities of our school every month takes us to visit some old alone people who need our care. we will clean the house, listen to their stories about the days during the war and talk with them to make them happy. Every time we can learn more vivid knowledge about the history. In this way, the education will be more efficient than the teaching course in the class. Parents, whose professions are various, can teach us more things of their jobs and their experiences about the society that are more helpful.

On the other hand, we must study at school because the education from those professional educators is really essential in our whole lives. A successful businessman once said: the keys which make me success are the knowledge that I learned at kindergarten. Those simple but essential education will really influence our whole lives. In another way, just as my professor said, the knowledge from school is the basis of our further study. So we must trust the professional educator and learn well when we are students.


From the reasons I offer here, we can easily reach the conclusion that not only professional educator but also parents and communities should be involved in the local school. In this way, the education from school will be more helpful and efficient to students who create the future of our society.
