*4. No field of study can advance significantly unless outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to that field of study. [2]

The speaker asserts that no field of study is able to achieve great progress only when outsiders bring their knowledge and experience to it. I fundamentally agree with the speaker that the knowledge and experience from other subjects is able to shed light on the studies of other fields..

First of all, the modern science in various fields is substantially universally interrelated. The famous physicist M-Plank, who is also the founder of Quantum theory, has once said, "Science is inherently a whole. Its being regarded as a separate sector does not depend on the essence of things, but on the limitation of human cognitive ability. In fact there is a chain starting from Physics to Chemistry, then throughout Biology and Humanity to the social sciences, which can be broken nowhere.". The world has shown us such a complex interrelated web that it can not be fully understood unless we grasp a variety of disciplines in its context.

Secondly, since science is inherent as a whole in essence, in many occasions the improvement in one scientific field is able to promote the born of great achievement in other fields. Once the radioactivity is found in the field of Physics, it not only became a main way for humans to treat cancer, but also brought the dating techniques to archeologists and astronomers; Let alone what a vigorous revolutionary the invention of computer in the 1940s has given to all the other scientific fields. Hence few would argue that a big progress in one scientific field may offer a totally new thought or research tool to other fields, and stimulate them to develop greatly as well.

Thirdly, new scientific fields often emerge in the interaction among different disciplines. It has been commonly accepted that the natural phenomena is so complicated that only researching it from one perspective, in other words, in one field is far from enough, for it will definitely prevent us from realizing it comprehensively. And when retrospecting some significant scientific achievement in the history, we can easily find out that they are often made out by a group of scientists who work in different disciplines. The Exciting discovery of DNA Double Helix in 1953 was just achieved by Biologist J. D. Watson, Physicist F.H.C. Crick and several other scientists who majored in different disciplines. Furthermore, due to such a scientific research tendency, many cross-disciplines are appearing from time to time, such as Biochemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, and Biological Mathematics and so on in order to remedy the deficiencies I have mentioned above.

In conclusion, no field of study can keep advancing while being isolated from other scientific fields. It is during the process of melting among various disciplines that much significant scientific achievement is made; consequently people should try best to increase the interplay among different subjects so that more and more innovative scientific discoveries can be received in the future.

First of all, the modern science in various fields is
substantially universally (可以两个副词一起用吗)interrelated.

Furthermore, due to such a scientific research tendency, many cross-disciplines are appearing from time to time, such as Biochemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, and Biological Mathematics(怎么都举和生物有关的例子阿,还有什么物理化学啊,物理数学啊什么) and so on in order to remedy the deficiencies I have mentioned above.

In conclusion, no field of study can keep advancing while being isolated from other scientific fields. It is during the process of melting among various disciplines that much significant scientific achievement is made; consequently people should try best to increase the interplay among different subjects so that more and more innovative scientific discoveries can be received in the future.
