当我们研究历史时，我们变成了讲故事的人。因为我们无从直接知道过去发生的事情，必须通过一些证据来构建，所以历史研究是一个有创造成分的领域，而并非一个客观的学科。所有的历史学家都是讲故事的.

2.some stories we can not know directly, but some recent histories we can know accurately.
3.by interpreting evidence, we can construct the past. It rightly confirms that exploring history is an objective pursuit, rather than a pure creative enterprise.

As is known to all, in the primitive society, human already could use some simple tools when some special buried stones and irons were found out by today’s people. We also understand that the world experienced the ice age by studying the texture of geometric or something else. All these knowledge can not apart from the contributions of historians. They exploring the past by the means of objective evidence, but not of imagination. It is the most different between the history and story, which the latter emphasis on the free imagination and can not need the help of evidence.

Admittedly, frequently historians tell a period of history to people that seems telling a vivid story, but the intention of using this way is for how to make more people interest and understand the meaningful event. However, it does vary from a story, which the event must be fractured or modified by the teller who cares about attracting more readers or his own interest, so storytellers are not restricted by the fact and they can exert free creation.

For yesterday’s things, they have already become a part of past history, which we can totally know directly. But for some issues that happened so far from us, we can not directly know the past, especially, under the limited measure instruments and lacking of enough evidence, historians have to interpret some evidence to construct histories with their capacity of reasoning. No one is wise that makes no mistake, it is reasonable some believed history will be overturned andreduced intoa story when the new facts are found out and confirms that the history is wrong.Taking the human fossil for example, in the process of studying history, new human fossils are found out in the different place, through studying and analyzing the period of new out-earth fossils, historians will temporarily confirm that our ancestor lived in the A not in the B which regarded as the spring place of human being before. Therefore, contrary to story, history based on fact but story depends on creation.

The process of history research is a process of exploring and revealing the past truth. Unquestionably, history is an objective subject, which historians are doing research by the scientific method and honest attitude. According to above, it is unfair to say that all historians are storytellers. Of course, there is an exception when some historians construct the history which contains some creative and fictional issues for some benefits. This lose the meaning of studying history.

History, a strict and objective subject, needs enormous fact and evidence as a pillar. Meanwhile, historians have to be qualified with the ability of reasoning but not fantic  creation considering the limited technological level.
