As the fast development of the society and the technology, the world faces more and more problems which could break the peace around us and slow down the step of the development. Although there are several persistent social problems, a global university could not be the best solving way of these questions. But we could solve these problems in some other ways.

To begin with, I concede that our society and even world is facing more difficulties nowadays than ever before. Today when the advanced weapons developed fast, more and more people are living under the control of someone who owns developed weapons, although people may develop weapon in order to protect themselves at the very begging. This is not only influence the people who not own weapon living in afraid all days, but also make the people whose nations have weapon to drop into the dilemma of paying much money and time to develop the weapons. Besides, in the world, many people are in famine all the time with the worse and worse weather in the world and the global aridity. At the same time, many areas in the globe are suffering with the influence of global warming which is caused by the large amount of carbon dioxides releasing mainly by developed countries. The circumpolar ice are not frozen at all, which makes the height of the sea water is higher than ever before. If the globe is keeping warmer and warmer, many cities near the sea coast may disappear after several years. All these problems not only slow down our development, but also make our living surrounding worse.

Even we support the development of a global university; we would not solve the global problems at all. Firstly, the building of this global university will face many difficulties. There are many realistic problems block (blockade) the development of the global university. Where the university should be built, in the developing country or the developed country? Who could be the teachers in the university as the people from different areas will have different base of knowledge? And most important, the strategy of enrolling students would become the largest problem in the process, because the students from different countries would have learned different knowledge and even can not communicate with each other at all. Second, although a global university has been built, the students engaged in it may not have the ability of solving the world's most persistent social problems. As we all know, the problems we facing are global and flexible. The students who merely learned in universities and having the knowledge from books without any experience in real society could not solve the global problems, although the university gains all nations' help and designs the course closely related to the world's most persistent social problems. Hence, the global university could not solve the world's social problems.

Giving up the method above, we could search other ways to solve the world's most persistent social problems. For example, facing the problems of weapons, we could lead most countries to be friendly to others with the support of some international organizations or institutions, such as the United Nations, and promise that not use weapon to aggress other nations. What is more, when we are facing the problems of weather and climate, we could let all the members of the great nature to protect the environment which we rely on living. In this case, the developed countries should pay much more to help the countries which economy is not improving. This is impartial (equitable) because of both the poverty of the developing countries and the greater influence of the developed countries to the environment in their process of development. Also, we should try our best to make all nations who have inconsistency and even conflict negotiate to each other, instead of using weapon to solve the problems. A world which is safe and peace benefit all nations' development. Therefore, there are some other ways which could solve the worlds' problems.

To sum up, although our world is developing faster and faster, we are facing more and more dilemmas than before. The setting up of a global university designed to engage students in the process of solving the world's most persistent social problems could not lead our world to a better surrounding. We would research some other methods which could instead the former ways.

总的来说，全文在写法上还需要在斟酌一下，尤其要注意紧扣主题，虽然本文还不算离题，但是论证力还不是很强
