提纲：
1.同意现在的孩子是什么样决定未来的社会是什么样，但不只是孩子的社会化，
      还有其他，如责任感，自我控制能力，学习能力，对未来的态度，对世界的认识，and the like,
      而且，不同意我们还没有找到一种方法来教育孩子使其能对社会有益。
    2.社会性的好处，培养孩子社会化的好处。
      1>责任意识
      2>合作精神
      3>交流能力
    3.孩子的其他素质对未来社会同样重要或可能更重要。
      如自我控制能力，学习能力，对未来的态度，对世界的认识
    4.我们正在寻找一种方法来教育孩子使其能对社会有益，已经有一定的成果
      即锻炼孩子的以上几种能力，同时尊重孩子自己的选择，引导而不是强加给他们。

TOPIC: ISSUE130 - "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."

I concede that qualitis of today's children will determines the destiny of society. However aside from how they are socialized, there are also other qualities which play a critical in children's development and thus greatly influence the future of society. And I don't agree with author's further assertion that we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help bring about a better society. We are seeking a way to educate the children to benefite the future society. Maybe we have not found the most effective way, we do have made great improvement.

Admittedly, It has been highly emphisized by the education system, family as well as the sociaty how to help the children fully understand the importance of socialization and training them to communicate and live in the socialized world. Especially for the current increasingly eventful world which more like a global village in view of ever increasing speed of transportation and telecommunications. Interaction and interdependence are no longer a luxury or and option, unless one wishes to be left our and left behind. The qualities to commnicate and to cooperate with others have been regarded as a basic requirement for every children, which also have  been interpreted as the guarentee of success of the individual and the group or organizaion, or the society as a whole.

Besids the quality of how to be socialized, the other qualitis cannot be ingored. And it is far from an easy task to determine which quality is the most critical one that attribute mostly to the destiny of society. First, consider moral. It is basic requirement for the person who living in the sociaty in every period of human history, the children with low moral awareness can hardly do any benefitial things to the sociaty when they grow up. Second, confidence, which is also regard as an essential quality for the children who wish to success and contribute more to the sociaty. Third, learing ability. Since the world is becoming increasingly eventful, it is changed every minutes, the learning ability can help the children be sensitive to the change of the world and keep up with the development, thus better service the sociaty. Aside from those mentioned above, there are some qualities,such as self control, creative, activity and so forth. are also important for the development of children along with the quality of how to be socialized.

As for the method to raise children who can help bring about a better society, in the world wide, there are special research in this area, and we have made significant improvement. We help the children better understand the sociaty the firt day they were send to kidgarden by their parents. The teacher will require them to intraduce themselves--actually only tell other children theire name--most the same way the first day we enter a new company. All kinds of games are designed to pratice their ability of cooratiion and communicatio n along with thier mental and physical exercise.   The children learn team work, know their responsibility in a team, be happy with the victory of the team while sad when the team losed. They understand their role in the team, and then know their role in the society, know what they should do and what they should not do when there are confilicts between self interests and interests of public. All these training have been included in the curriculum of school for a long time, and students and teacher have been well accustomed to these training. Though there are still some aspects we can do even better, we have on the right way to teach the children who can help bring about a better society.

In sum, to be socialized is one important quality for children, working side-by-side with other qualities can help the children grow healthly and best benefit the future society. We have found some pratically effective ways to develop this quality.
