TOPIC: ISSUE210 - "Most people choose a career on the basis of such pragmatic considerations as the needs of the economy, the relative ease of finding a job, and the salary they can expect to make. Hardly anyone is free to choose a career based on his or her natural talents or interest in a particular kind of work."

Under the environment of the economical market, many people flood into the job market to hunt the jobs and make the competition very hot. Then there comes a question: Whether the people is hard to choose the career according to their interest and the natural talents, but consider the need of the economy, the relative ease of  finding a job, and the salary. As far as I concerned, finding the needs of the economy is necessary for human living, however, the natural talents or interest is more important for the people's life. To better present the view point let me illustrate in details.

Admittedly, in order to make living, people must find the needs of the economy to satisfy the material living. As we all know, people living in this word must own the basic living materials, such as eating, leisure time and bringing up the children. Therefore, people have to search for the good jobs with high salary, especially in job market with serious competition. When they find the jobs, they have to concern whether the salary will rise in the future. So many people spend much time on the jobs and salary, while ignore the interesting and natural talents. We can see many examples in our life. Students always embrace many dreams when stepping into the university; however, under the pressure of the job, they always put the jobs or salary on the first consideration when they graduated from the school. After the hunting jobs, they have to search better jobs and more salary for their families, with the time going, they will know nothing about their interest. So, today, many people indeed think that the pragmatic considerations are the most important for them..

However, there are still myriads of people who put the interests and the talents for the first consideration rather than the economy. The individuals are unique that every people are different from each other beside the thought, intelligence and interest. Therefore, many people find the job base on their nature talent and interest rather than the economy. Some even stick them for a life time. For example, Van Gough, the outstanding postimpressionist of the history, spends his life time to search his goal even sell only one work with the help of his friend, however, he ultimately succeeds and create a new area for the art. The same to the Marx, in order to finish the Capital, he stand everything to progress even he has no money to rent a room and have to borrow the money. Consequently, these people make greater achievement under the direction of the natural talents and interest.

Furthermore, people can get the significant achievement and economic by combining with their natural talents and interests, since they are not contradiction. The interests are the best teacher? Why? Because they can work according to their interests, the people can get motivated and work hard. Therefore, they will make progress and then bring the wealth for them. For example, the Bill Gate dropped his school to search his natural talents and interest in the computer. After he worked hard, he founded the Microsoft and become the richest people in the world. The same to Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin have great interests in mathematics and computer; especially exploit the searching engine, when they were students at Stanford University. So they create the famous searching engine-Google to combine the information from the world and let everybody use the information. Now, they realize their dream and become the rich people.   

In summary, through all the discussion above, we can safely reach the conclusion that people always consider the economic for the living, however, people should consider more about their interest and nature talents.
