     The Chemistry Department Admissions Committee has reviewed your application and supporting materials, and it is our intention to offer you admission for graduate study once the admission process is complete. This process requires review and verification of authenticity of all foreign credentials submitted, including the diploma, academic transcripts, etc. by Graduate Enrollment Services in the Graduate School. We appreciate your patience while this necessary step in the graduate admission process at PSU.
     The appointment carries a 12-month stipend of ＄20050 beginning with the fall semester 2008.
     Thanks to a generous endowment from PSU, our department is able to offer fellowships to exceptional students. The committee was extremely impressed by your academic accomplishments and has selected you on an additional fellowship: it is my pleasure to inform you that you have also been awarded a fellowship of ＄2000 in addition to the departmental assistantship of ＄20050. Your total 12-month stipend will therefore be ＄22050 for the 2008-09 academic year!
