In today’s technological advanced society, the television and worldwide computer connections provide us beautiful pictures or videos of the places we never visited, so the author comes to a conclusion that travelling will no longer be need soon. However, in my opinion, the author fails to consider other possible alternatives as follows which will prove that the tourism will coexist with television and worldwide computer connection.

First of all, people who love travelling will break the author’s assertion. For them, the most interest thing is not only just to be familiar with the place they visit, but also to experience the things they never meet before. When they decide to climb on the mountain, they want to taste the feeling of conquest; when they determine to pay a visit to a historical famous city, they want to be a member of local people; when they make their mind to have a travel to sea, they want to sense the sea’s full of power and grandeur. For the travelling lovers, they will not be content to just have a look on the photos or videos; furthermore, they are chasing a feeling of touch.

Second, travelling can make people be free from daily life and draw a picture of a world people have few opportunities to access usually. So tourism is a good choice for people to spend their holiday and the advertisements through television and internet which provide details of most places of the world will inspire people to travel. For example, after having a looking at the beautiful scene in advertisement of Yellow Stone national park, few people will refuse to buy a ticket for it. What’s more, following the instruction of the media the author refers to, people can avoid the possibility of travelling blindly, for the reason that the information they provide is enough for us to choose a place we may like.

In addition, the internet makes the travel much easier than before. In order to make the traveler more convenience, most Air-lines have their agencies set up websites on the internet through which the customers can order their tickets. So are the hotels. There is much information on the internet about tourism which nearly includes all the details the tourists want-from the common sense a fresher should take notice to the detail travelling routes ,which may save you much time and money, of the place you intent to go to. The Internet makes the travelling more comfortable and for most people, the Internet brings them more desire to have an experience of tourism.

Overall, though television and worldwide computer connects can make us come to understand the world without going out, the arguer’s assertion will not become truth. Since the introduction of those technologies, we are inspired to go for travelling to the place we find it interesting and experiencing the things we never do before.
