[活动] IMPULSE作文小组周一作业------双手的温柔 [复制链接]

As education is very important for people’s future development, topics in this field are always being discussed by the public. The homework is among those education topics. Is the daily homework necessary for students? Different people have different viewpoints. In my perspective, daily homework is not indispensable for students.

First of all, it is plausible to spur the indolent students working hard. The daily assignment, usually, gives public an illusion of facilitating learning. It seems with this every day, mandatory work, students are obliged to review their notes, and to practice the knowledge taught on the classes. However, the effect of this is doubtable. Without it the assiduous students will still put effort on their study, while the insolent ones, even under the daily assignment, they may try to copy others homework. In this sense, the daily work not only benefit the students, even push them to dishonesty.

Secondly, daily assignment may negative impact the time efficiency for its inflexibility. The maximum efficiency is based on scientific time management. Pinpoint the weakness, focus on it, and conquer it. But under the mechanically daily-base homework way, students are easily misled to the wrong point by their assignment. The time allocation tends to be decided by the quantity of homework rather than their real learning status. For example, one student may have to spend three hours everyday on his physics homework although his most effort should be put on the English course. In this case, he is wasting time on a well-mastered subject while having little time to improve his weak one.  

Third, nowadays, the society advocates a balanced development of the students. Daily- based homework will result in the overburden and asymmetric development. As the importance of learning is over emphasized by this action, as well the time taken by lots of homework, students will have little time to dig their hobbies, take part in associations or even have some rest. Imagine this: if a student has seven subjects in his first year of senior high school, and every teacher will give him homework everyday, he will be tied by those assignment tightly, and become too exhausted to enjoy his spare time.

To sum up, assignment on everyday basis although seems to be beneficial for students’ study, the effect will be limited or even negative. The recommended and more rational solution is to give students suitable quantity homework to help them reinforce their knowledge, while leave them some freedom to manage time by themselves.

plausible是似是而非吧。。。 superficially fair, reasonable, or valuable but often specious,webster上的解释。
paradox才是似非而是哦。
