157 There is no such thing as purely objective observation. All observation is subjective; it is always guided by the observer's expectations or desires.
------正文------
As we all know, all observation is conducted by human being. During the observation, it is probably that people put their expectations or desires in it. In my opinion, I agree that most observation is subjective.(这句话去掉吧,前面并没有提出观点呀。改成and make subjective observations)
First of all, during the process of observation, people not only observe, but also consider the phenomenon or results of the objective. It is very natural that people put his experience and expectations into their considering. (两个句子并一起成一个Topic sentence 比较好。People not only---, but also put his ---to consider---)For example, when conducting a experiment, people usually look forward to gain some data that is very close to the academic results. In this way, when they read the data, they may try to re-correct it without considering the minor errors. Although it is against the spirits of science, it does happen in our life. Moreover, different people observe the same objective may come to different results of observation. The way that people think is distinct from each other. For instance, when facing a flying machine, someone may regard it as just a plane, others may consider it as an UFO. Thus, people usually put their expectations or desires into their observation and different people have different ways of thinking and observing, which means there is hardly a thing as purely objective observation. (这一段大部分讲了expectation, 举了两个例子,有点多余,建议把其中一个换成experience的例子)
Furthermore, people's observation is limited to time and space, which leads to subjective observation.(这个观点不错哟) In the past, the equipment that people used to observe was limited and rare. In this way, people were unable to attain the objective results, instead they had to put their imagination and reasoning into their observation. For example, people used to believe that the sun rotated around the earth due to their lacking in essential observation equipment and knowledge. In addition, even now the equipment for us to explore the outer space is limited and many of the theories are based on observation with people's reasoning. In this way, people have to combine their experience and expectations (这里和上一段有点重了,别忘了你的分论点)with observation in order to draw a sound conclusion. Hence, due to limited the development of technology most observation is subjective.
Admittedly, although most observation is subjective, in some situations, people may gain objective observation. Even if people's observation is guided by their expectations or experience, they also may attain objective observation with their efforts. For example, when producing a documentary about animals, the observer just observes and records what he see, he need not put his experience or expectations in the observation. Because the documentary provide the natural and objective truth of how the animals live. If the observation is guided by the observer's expectations, the documentary will be misleading and it is not necessary for the observer to do so. In this way the observation tends to be objective. Hence, there are some situations that the observation is comparatively objective and it need not be guided by the observer's expectations.
To sum up, in most cases, the observation is subjective due to the fact that the observer is considering in his own way at the same time he is observing and the limitation of technology. However, in some situations, people may attain some comparatively objective observation.
总的来说不错,:vomit:层次很清晰,几个小错误,注意一下吧.加油!:victory:
