Reasoning is very important and most achievements made by human had something to do with reasoning, furthermore, nowadays, our society is putting much concerning on reasoning so that our society is improving. On the other hand, society also places a lot of emphasis on other valuable things such as morality.

Admittedly, reasoning is so important that history is full of successful examples of reasoning which make human beings improve. First, when our ancestors faced unknown things, it was reasoning that made people think, discover and make progress. For example, when ancient people were trapped into the danger of barbarous animals such as tigers and so on, they might notice that when there came a thunder which caused a fire, those dangerous animals went away. After that, they tried to find the reason, and finally it was clear that fire was a useful way to get rid of those dangerous animals. Second, when our ancestors faced so-called "facts", it was reasoning that made people find the mistakes of these "facts" and find the truth. For example, when people dropped into the belief of geocentric theory, they did not know they made mistakes. However Copernicus kept suspicious of the theory, finally he found that the base of this theory was ridiculous and set up heliocentric theory.

Furthermore, nowadays, our society is still putting much concerning on reasoning so that our society is going on improving. We can see this point clearly in science and entertainment.  Science treats reasoning as a strong tool to discover new things and test existed theories. Science encourages people to find the reason of everything in the world. For example, now people are trying their best to explain how gene decides physical condition of human, and if people succeed, many kinds of diseases will be cured. Additionally, when a particular theory is developed, science encourages people to reason it, so that people can make themselves nearer to the truth. In entertainment, it is reasoning that enables companies to find what people like most and to make changes as people's interests change so that we can receive so many ways of entertainment after a long time of busy work.

On the other hand, society also places a lot of emphasis on other valuable things such as morality. Hardly any one would like to live in a society full of cheating, so that people can not believe each other. Either hardly would anyone like to live in a society full of barbarous, so that people have to worried about their life every day.

In sum, although there are many other things which is valuable in our society, reasoning is been put much emphasis from the past to nowadays.

Science encourages people to find the reason of everything in the world. For example, now people are trying their best to explain how gene decides physical condition(?确定这么说吗？or physical structure/function 行吗？) of human, and if people succeed( in the study ), many kinds of diseases will be cured. Additionally, when a particular theory is developed, science encourages people to reason it, so that people can make themselves nearer(get closer) to the truth. In entertainment, it is reasoning that enables companies to find what people like most and to make changes as people's interests change so that we can receive so many ways of entertainment after a long time of busy work.(这块还可以扩展， 像reasoning使得人们分析问题更全面。当人们发生冲突时，通过reasoning发现自己的错误，并且为对方想。这样conflicts 就会化解甚至避免)

On the other hand, society also places a lot of emphasis on other valuable things such as morality. Hardly any one would like to live in a society full of cheating, so that people can not believe each other. Either hardly would anyone like to live in a society full of barbarous, so that people have to worried about their life every day. （这段是为了赶时间把！Morality includes trust, self-consciousness, and so forth. Nobody would like to live in a world where cheating appears in every corner. And distrust can make people keep distance to each other. Additionally, another aspect of morality--self-consciousness, is very necessary to every one, especially to every citizen. As a citizen, one should has the self-consciousness to avoid destroy public belongings. Living in crowd cities, citizens also need the self-consciousness to avoid disturb others, especially when other people are working, studying, and sleeping.)

In sum, although there are many other things which is valuable in our society, reasoning is been put much emphasis from the past to nowadays. (结尾也很重要，也要充实阿，如果时间过紧，不妨把各段的Ts筛选 粘贴，再来一句话了结。)

呵呵，考完了看看发现还这么多问题，好像这篇写偏题了，过分强调reasoning 而不是intellect,好险，希望我的考题没有出这么大问题。
