最后一段少了一个not 呵呵 已修改
b2l里面在“朋友”“饮食”等方面我觉得例子最好是能和政治搭上点关系的
但是还没有想到。。。
第一段的表达问题你提的很对啊,我没有注意到,谢谢!
Can some of one's appearance and daily habits as cloths, friends, the way one talk and one's favorite food reflect their political beliefs? Some people hold this opinion, but taking into account varies aspects, my answer to this question is negative. It is possile that we could identify someone's politics beliefs within a short time of meeting by recognizing his/her cloth or hair cut, but this would not work to all the people in any circumstance.
Admittedly, in some cases, people could be recognized about their politics belief from their appearance. On one hand, some people prefer to show their politic beliefs by their appearance and way of talk. It is hard to imaging that a leader of conservative party to wear a green tie every day which is the color of the green party in some countries. On the other hand, some people feel free to act as what the others consider them to be. One extreme example is the Hippies who kept long hair, wearing dirty jeans, living with lots of other hippies together, and took drugs during the 1960 to 1970s in the United States. These certain group of people holds their anti-war attitude and are glad to be recognized from their appearance.
Nevertheless, in modern society, many people's daily activity could be attributed to different purpose, as a result, there is no denying that what they wear, eat and the way they talk have nothing to do with their politic beliefs. People wear more clothes in place where it is freezing for almost all the year, which could not reflecting that they are all conservative man and women. One who likes to be dressed in red clothes just because he/she likes this color could not be regarded as a communist. For that matter, it is unreasonable to judge one's political beliefs just from their appearance.
Further more, I take up the opinion that it is only via a long time observation to people could we identify one's political beliefs. In other words, it seems unscrupulous to claim that observation based on meeting to people for just a few minutes is apparently exact. People may not be ready to show their politic beliefs though their appearance and way of talk instead of normal ones in any time. In modern society, rule and regulation restrict people to act in the way that could be accepted by the mainstream in most of the time. Some people make friends just for the sake of business. Nonetheless, one's political beliefs could be observed by acquire there option in the vote, their attitude towards the claim of different party or the policy of government and so on, which takes more time. In a word, it takes more time than a meeting that could one's political beliefs be recognized.
To sum up, although we can trace some sign of their political belief from some people, but commonly, not every thing of people reflects their political belief. Due to the above mentioned reasons, I basically believe that one's political belief could not be surely recognized from things like their clothes, their friends, the way they talk and what they eat. |
