In the era of the rapid social and technology, the ability of competition and cooperation has become more and more important in many realms such as government, sports, industry, and so on. However, in some sense, it seems like that competition is more necessary than cooperation.

In the rushing step of market economy, competition should be an indispensable capability. If one has not competition consciousness, especially in political, he or she can not be called as a compatible leader. As for a leader, who represents the community in which he serves, he has responsibility to create more opportunities and chance for the league members. Even if meeting intractable problems, the leader also should try his best to deal with them. Further, for the sport stars, if they do not pay more attention to a sense of competition, Liuxiang can not refresh the world record, which is created by Chinese athlete. Meanwhile, if the leader of factory loses the sense of competition, industry can not inspire the society to make rapid progress as well as construct more social benefits and job opportunities. In sum, this sense helps people attain the final determination.

On the other hand, the sense of competition not only indicate that an eminent person understand how to get the terminal success, but know how to persuade the competitor. Obviously, it is also a kind of a sense of competition. The reason is that the leaders learn how to evaluate independently the subject and competitor, according to sufficient data, material, analysis; they make decision and warrant the benefit of the community members. Although this skill is unclearly to be considered by other people, usually they play an important role in the market economy and crucial. Especially in government and business area, government leader uses the persuading skill to negotiate with the competitors, who are leaser from other countries. A successful negotiation will assist for them to win the beneficial situation in the political activities. What is more, sometimes businessmen’s persuasion skills will economy a pile of money. It must be mentioned that a sense of competition enhance their confidence to meet different situations and environments.

However, it is an important ability about a sense of cooperation for the leaders. In the globalization’s mainstream, communication between countries become more and more sequent, it is mainly embody in blocking terrorist, protecting environment, and studying the method for various diseases. Terrorist become more and more popular and threatens the safety of many areas. The cooperation between areas can have effect on resisting the danger trend. Along with the industrialization and urbanization, the pollution of air and water resource show from bad to worse. According to cooperation, among government begin to find effective method to control and solve the bad situation. In addition, meeting variable illness, sometimes he best way is that many experts around the world go to together consider the solving method.

From what has been discussed above, both competition and cooperation should be emphasized in the current social activities. Moreover, overemphasizing competition and ignoring cooperation are not responsibility for the whole society and all citizens.
