Nowadays, in the chart of the world-wide universities, the western ones which occupy the top offer up the world much contribution in the filed of culture, art, history, politics, and the human civilization. They are the producer, transmitter, and saver of the human knowledge. However, I cannot agree with the statement above, and a global university is superfluous.

In the world, there are many persistent social problems such as terrorism, friction of the phyle, pollution of the environment and calefying of the climate to be solved. These problems trouble people for several years because the creation of these problems is caused by many complex reasons. Simply development of a global university cannot support much assist on solving them. Fox example, when talking about terrorism and the event of 9-11, the students from western world would insist differently with the middle-east students. This bifurcation could be hard to banished, and it may result in more conflict indeed. Even if the research about the world problems could provide the schemes which are not certainly useful in fact to decide, when these schemes are enforced, the result could be limited by many uncertain factors like religion, politics, financial level, and social system.

It is true that the development of a global university could improve the communication of students who come from different countries. Different culture and mind would influx here, and increase the development of them each other. However, that is quite hard to solve these persistent social problems for them. As a student, the main purpose in a university is studying after all, so they have much difficulty to cognize these complex problems and their substance deeply and profoundly. The solution of these problems requires broad field of knowledge and plenty of experience in society, environment, politics, religion and other aspects. Otherwise, to solve these problems, the cooperation of politics between different countries is essential. For countries, it is fairly difficulty, even rather that for a student which is comparatively impossible. Many things in the world are not controlled by the youth after all.

In addition, building such a university is also a problem which is caused by the management. For example, addressing could lead to argument among many countries. Because this kind of university could absorb many students all around the world, at the same time, and bring up job opportunity. This is in favor of the development of business, tour, and restaurant. On the other hand, the strength of the overall countries is different, so it is quite possible that the developed countries would administrate this global university mainly but the developing countries could not pronounce. In fact, this state exists in some department in the UN. This is useless for solving. To solve the persistent social problems, the integrative factors from different aspects should be respected. Furthermore, the developed countries would affect the direction of research. Perhaps this is disadvantageous for the developing countries also.

There is no gainsaying that the development of a global university could improve the acquaintance of different civilization, culture and phyle, then the self-identity, tolerance and understanding for other civilization, culture and phyle would be formed. Many top-grade universities which drive the culture globalizesed in the world are accomplishing this object. However, the development of the university which is described as the statement is reasonably impossible.
