No one can live without neighbors in modern time. A good neighbor may be more helpful than friends when we are in trouble. A good neighbor may have many good qualities such as honesty, having a kind heart and humor.

A notable quality of a good neighbor is honesty. Honesty is not only important to a good neighbor but also important to everyone. People may have to travel sometimes for work, holiday or other reasons. Asking a kind neighbor to help taking care of the department is the best choice when people have to travel. No one wants to ask a neighbor who is not an honest one to look after her or his apartment. So, honesty is one of the good neighbor's good qualities.

Another important quality of a good neighbor, I think is having a kind heart. The most important relationship among neighbors is helping each other when the people meet some problem. People may need the good neighbor's help to pick up their children from school and to take care of them for some hours when both parents are stuck working overtime. Though it may be a big trouble to the neighbors, a kind-hearted neighbor will offer the help of his own will.

In addition, a good neighbor should have a sense of humor. People spend most of their life time at home and much time may spend with their neighbors. People could gain laugh and happiness from their humorous neighbors. Many people after their meal would like to talk with a humorous neighbor called Ting Zhang in my community about the interesting stories. They have a happy time together. This case is not rare, in reality; lots of people can enjoy their spare time with their neighbors.
