When faced with the decision of a long vacation or several short vacations throughout the year,some people would choose one long vacation,but others,in contrast,deem several short vacations as the premier choice and that is also my point.in my opinion,several short vacations will give stuents a moderate break and make them in a better mood to study.

Students may be tired of studying since school sometimes can be a very tiring and tedious experience.So if they get regular breaks ,it would do good to help relax their nerve and release their pressure.Moreover,it is a good chance for students to reflect their study and make further plans.And when they came back to school,they have refresherd enough to continue with school.

Having many breaks throughout the year is also good for one’s social life.Short vacations bring out several opportunities for people to get together,so they will not lose touch with each other.Besides that,students could go out to see some places during vacations in different seasons,as the scene differs throughout the year.

However,someone would argue that in the long vacation, students could travel a longer trip,reaserch in a porject ,or do other things entirely,which people can not do in short days.Surely pople could have a good recreation during the long holidays,but they may have to need a time to get accustomed to the life in campus as they have not touch the course for moths,and the information they got may be forgot.In that condition,their effiency of learning would not be high too.

Taking into account of all these factors,I maintain that it is preferable to have some short vacations in a year,because it would be easier for students to relax and focus on their studies.
