这应该是上周六就要交的作业，但是因为网络故障，这个题目没写，第一偏ISSUE写成了ISSUE8，这是自己的第二篇了，因为做题都写好了提纲，所以今天写着感觉快了不少。不过还是用了80分钟：（

7. Education ill be truly effective only when it is specifically designed
to meet the individual needs and interests of each student.【51】
教育只有被专门设计来满足每一个学生个人需求和兴趣的时候才是真正有效率的。
Outline:
Position: I partially agree with the speaker that only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, education will be truly effective.
1.        The traditional teacher-centered education ignores the individual needs and interests of each student, which proves counterproductive. (eg.)
2.        Students-centered education can most effectively involve individual students in the learning progress. And inspire their potential ability.
3.        However, the function of education is not only imparting knowledge, but culturing character, teaching the way to think and behaving.
4.        Considering high the cost of design the specifically course, it may be not feasible. Even so who design the course is also a problem.

Context:
    I partially agree with the speaker that only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student, education will be truly effective. However, there are some flaws when education is specifically designed may lead it ineffective.
   
In the education history, the traditional teacher-centered education was thought to be the proper and only way to teach, which ignores the individual deeds and interests of each students. But it proves counterproductive now. In the elementary and middle school, the leaders who design the courses, take into account the teachers proposes that which courses are needed for the students and what schedule is appropriate, but hardly hear the students’ advises. Although, some curriculums like Chinese, mathematics, foreign language, politics, art is basic necessary, the courses such as sociology, philosophy may become boring to the students who don’t have the interest. It will not urge the desire of the students, on contrary, the burdensome courses may lead to their detestations of the basic course, even weaken their enthusiasm of studying.
   
    What’s more, students-centered education can most effective involve individual students in the learning progress. And inspire their potential ability. As the students learns, every one will find their individual interests and needs for theirs future, if they can receive the hoping courses, they are to be more active, which may even discover their potential abilities. Take my younger brother for example, when he is at elementary school, there are much too spare time for him and his grademates except the basic classes, to their pleasure, the leaders open the course of piano after knowing the students interests including my brother. As the class went on, more and more students are interested in piano even saxophone, my younger brother was rewarded the 7-degree certification now. They were highly edified and excited by the piano course which is specifically designed.
   
    However, there may some problems exist, if the courses are fully specifically designed according the individual needs. The purpose of education is not only imparting knowledge, but culturing character and behaving. No matter the individual’s interests, the basic classes which teach them how to culture themselves and to be a upright and honest person is more important, I think.

    In order to meet the students’ individual needs and interests, the school may have higher education cost, it may be not feasible. At the same time, who will design the course? And what courses should be opened are problem to be solved, even if the education money is enough.

    In general, education will be truly effective if the courses are specifically designed considering the individual needs and interests of the students, some relevant problem should be solved to make it more efficient.
