topic:In any field of inquiry, the beginner is more likely than the expert to make important discoveries.
words:480

outline:
1.新手好奇心强,大胆,热情
2.新手更敢于挑战权威
3.同样需要重视专家的影响

issue:
As John Dewey mentioned in his book “The quest of the certainty”, every great advance in science has issued from a new audacity of imagination. And the beginner can represent this kernel of research, completely. However, compared with experts, sometimes these tyros might be short of overall comprehension on the entire research field. In other words, we should encourage the beginners to research boldly, and meanwhile we should attach important to the impacts of experts.

Frequently, curious, audacious and passionate can be the typical characteristics of the beginner, awfully desirable in science research. Like firstborn nestling, beginners have intense curiosity about the unknown and great courage to try new things. To some extent they are inclined to absorb in different point of views rather than those experts standing at their status firmly. Moreover, without any reputation in the field before, the beginners are audacious to apply the theory innovatively. For example, when the wave theory and the particle theory in optics confused many famous physical scientists, de Broglie, who intended to engage in history research initially, combined the two seemingly conflicting theories and put forward de Broglie matter wave theory, which bestowed him the Nobel Prize in 1929.

As an old aphorism says “bobby calf does not dare tigers”, beginners look forward to the glorious future and dare to challenge whichever they doubt. In contrast, sometimes experts are impeded to adventure to oppugn unusual phenomenon at the risk of being derided by those authorities in the field. With the development of technology, there exists a reformation in research domain all the time, that is to say, science keeps changing along with other conditions vary. For instance, Galileo carried through a famous experiment set free two ferrous balls with different weight on top of Pisa Campanile and overthrow the false theory of authority Aristotle successfully, which persisted about 1900 years.

Although there are numerous examples in history that beginners made important discoveries in many fields, the effect of experts should also be attached important to. Lacking profoundly understanding the entire academic domain, beginners always suffer that are incapable of carry their original ideas out when they get. In the past history, authorities left behind the same brilliant track as the amateur, even can come up to much more dazzling. Put Leibnitz and Madam Courier as examples. He had well-knit scientific foundation and specific academic target since 15 years old. With industrious endeavor for many years, he first published the calculus. Similarly, the Madam Courier discovered the element U after many decades hard working by employing religious disquisitive methods.

In order to acquire even more advanced academic research, we should throw over all prejudice about tyros and dare to challenge everything whichever we doubt with aborative investigation. Meanwhile, we also should attach important to the effects of the authority in the field because they possess a full-scale comprehension on entire professional domain.

自私一下,谨以此献给我骄傲的Italy!

Frequently, curious, audacious and passionate can be the typical characteristics of the beginner, (其实这里b 和e的定义可以给出来的) awfully desirable in science research. For example, when the wave theory and the particle theory in optics confused many famous physical scientists, de Broglie,(是新手吗 ,我不知道,不知道ets知不知道) who intended to engage in history research initially, combined the two seemingly conflicting theories and put forward de Broglie matter wave theory, which bestowed him the Nobel Prize in 1929.

(文章的涉及面好像就是科学的东西,可是还有很多别的吧In any field of inquiry,有回应这个吗?)

看文章的结果只知道beginner有优点也有缺点,那到底是不是更有可能创新呢?好像是疑团的说。。。

Moreover, without any reputation in the field before, the beginners are audacious to apply the theory innovatively. For example, when the wave theory and the particle theory in optics confused many famous physical scientists, de Broglie, who intended to engage in history research initially and was aroused interest by the discussion about optics and the characters of quanta, combined the two seemingly conflicting theories and put forward de Broglie matter wave theory, which bestowed him the Nobel Prize in 1929.
