We live in a society filled with reality which also needs us to get along with it and improve it. Under this requirement, people search for different means and have practices. Some persons consider the pragmatic behavior is the only way for human to get success and improve our lives. But also the idealistic point of view serves as an origination of our creations. So I augur that both the practical and idealistic point of view are essential to our success.  

In the first place, we can not deny that idealistic opinion without the following practical program can not weigh much and survive in this society. The goal in any field of study may have common—explore the unknown world and improve our lives. This requirement is said to be a fact that our actions should be take out according to the reality. Practice is the only critic to value the truth. So, how can we harbor an idealistic opinion which can not be take effect in the practice procedure? The entirely idealistic thought get away from the main road of creativity and most people would not accept it as a successful project, maybe just a place for heart to entertain. Although we need the purified idealistic thought to relax ourselves and release our imaginations, the practice is a fundamental way to get the hope into fact.

However, idealistic opinion is the former formation of practice and should be considered to come into fact. All practical behavior breaks from the past supposal of idealistic thought but remains indebted to it. As first, we suppose to fulfill a project, and there may be difficulty in it. Both the experts and general people search for working out the solutions. But the conditions, knowledge and technology at that time limit the exploration. This project left as an idealistic thought for the descendents. Then, with the effort of a few generations, this idealistic opinion comes true and we call it successful in practice. So we can image that many truth come from the original idealistic thought and should be examined in the practice. For example, the brothers Black has an idealistic opinion to make us fly as birds, and through their hard work and practice, the plane, which may be thought absurd and idealistic in the past, came into our lives.

Further more, idea give birth of the direction of practice and stimulate the inspiration of a new investment or discovery. Nowadays, we concern too much on the creativity. Creativity is believed as a mystery, possibly a gift to genius. In fact, we consider it to be the endowment of all of us because it just requires us to make our imagination and take it into practice. What is created is new, and the idealistic thought opens up that expand human possibilities. This fact can be consented by many fields of experts, as scientists, scholars, psychiatrists, historians, educators, sociologists and philosophers whose careers have been devoted to exploring creativity. The inventions of them are all examples of departures from ideas, but none could occur without idealistic thought. They work out new ideas and have unremitting desire to create a satisfying new order out of chaos, and the courage to persist to practice that order on one’s own terms. So both the outstanding ideas and continuous practice cast into their success.

As I state above, the practical behaviors are originated from idealistic thoughts and all of the ideas should be examined in practice. They are both of great significance and depend on each other. If we want to be successful, we can not ignore both of them. And the most important, we should work out our idealistic opinion and apply it into practice.
