56.Collectors prize the ancient life-size clay statues of human figures made on Kali Island but have long wondered how the Kalinese artists were able to depict bodies with such realistic precision. Since archeologists have recently discovered molds of human heads and hands on Kali, we can now conclude that the ancient Kalinese artists used molds of actual bodies, not sculpting tools and techniques, to create these statues. This discovery explains why Kalinese miniature statues were abstract and entirely different in style: molds could only be used for life-size sculptures. It also explains why few ancient Kalinese sculpting tools have been found. In light of this development, collectors should expect the life-size sculptures to decrease in value and the miniatures to increase in value.

The author recommendate that collectors should expect the life-size sculptures to decrease in value and the miniatures to increase in value based on the evidence that molds of human heads and hands on Kali have been found by a recently research. According to his discovery, the author conclude that Kalinese artists did not use sculpting tools and techniques and explain why the statues are almost in the same style. The argument contain several logical flaws, which render it unconvincing.

First of all, recently archeologists found molds of human heads and hands on Kali is not a strongly evidence to prove that the ancient Kalinese artists are out of sculpting. It is quite possible that the archeologists did not discover the relative sculpting tools so far for some reasons, such as the tools usually made by wood in the old time that they had decomposed or our technology are not advanced enough to find these tool, they might be buried deeply under the earth. Without eliminating these possibilities, the author can not relay on nothing found to conclude that the ancient Kalinese artists didn't not use sculpting tools.

Secondly, based on molds discovered to explain why Kalinese miniature statues were abstract and entirely different in style is unwarranted. I concede that if the artists only used molds to create statues, that is the case. However this is just a assumption. It is likely that the in the thought of the artists who made the statues, the same size with actual bodies is perfect or more beautiful that others. Besides, perhaps, the people in that time like the size. The author fail to exclude that even sculpting can also make the same size as human being. Moreover, this argument serve to support the conclusion that the value of life-size sculptures would decrease is not disclosed.

Finally, the author failed to give evidence to support why the value of miniatures will increase, even he or she does not mention the miniatures. Meanwhile, It could be that the life-size sculptures to increase in value because of they made by Kalinese artists or using molds of human heads and hands to make them. The reader need other convinced evidence to assess the value of the status.

In sum, the argument is unpersuasive as it stand. To bolster it the argument's author must provide more confident evidences concern other factors such as economic circumstance, the time of the status and so on affect the value of the life-size sculptures.
