56 Governments should focus more on solving the immediate problems of today rather than trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.

The speaker contends that governments place more attention on solving the immediate problems of today rather trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future. I can not totally agree with it. I concede immediate problems might be vital, important, necessary, and emergency for official as they are most associated with people at time. In most respects, however, anticipated problems can also not be overlooked.

Admittedly, the significant of solving the immediate problems should be emphasized because by focus on these problems the government could know what their country or people really needed at time. For example, education is the urgent affair especially for developing country like China. Today there are still 180 million people in China who can not reading and writing. These illiteracies could only do labor work like farming, which are less effect in constructing the developing China. China government realized this, and as they did, placed the education as an immediate problem. Based on this attitude, and the Chinese government’s series education policy, China‘s GDP grows at average 10% every year. In my opinion, China government’s solving immediate problems of their own is greatly effective.

Despite the advantage of solving immediate, the anticipated problems could also not be overlooked. As it is known to all, a country should consider the future problems they may be faced in order to keep developing. For example, today more and more developing or developed country have highlighted environment as an anticipated problem. It is right for government to establish a law to control the environment that it will not only benefit people live today but give their offspring a clean live condition also. Example also cited, solar, wind, and nuclear energy have been developed and some of them are used in people’s life for the reason that current energy shorting situation. The reason why these new substitute exit is because the government foresees the future problem they will meet. It is hardly to imagine the case if there is no one care about it. So plan for solving problems we will face in future is also vital and could not be ignored.

On a balance view as I bolster, these two kinds of problems are both important and necessary for a government. Immediate problem is most associated with country currently need, while anticipated problem will directly effect the situation of country’s future. Only focus on current problem will make a country feckless, whereas it will also be less effective when government pay much more attention on future and throw away the immediate.

From what have been discussed above, it is hard to say which one should be definitely selected at last. A clever choice is to have a balance of both two. Government is required to draw out both plans for current or future meet problems based on its true situation.

The speaker contends that governments place more attention on solving the immediate problems of today rather(than) trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future. (建议加个连接词,否则显得太突然)I can not totally agree with it. I concede immediate problems might be vital, important, necessary, and emergency for official as they are most associated with people at time(at time 是偶尔,at times是有时,我想这里应该用后者吧?). In most respects, however, anticipated problems can also not be overlooked.

Admittedly, the significant of solving the immediate problems should be emphasized because by focus+ing on these problems the government could know what their country or people really needed at time+s. For example, education is the(an) urgent affair especially for developing country (countries) like China. Today there are still 180 million people in China who can not reading and writing(read or write). These illiteracies could only do labor work like farming, which are less effect in constructing the developing China(这么说会引起农民朋友的公愤的,可以说faming技术含量低,但不能说因为它是简单的体力活所以对祖国发展的贡献就小,我们每个人离开粮食什么也干不了). China government realized this, and as they did, (应该加一个"they"吧,否则感觉少主语)placed the education as an immediate problem. Based on this attitude, and the Chinese government’s series education policy, China‘s GDP grows at average 10% every year. In my opinion, China government’s solving immediate problems of their own is greatly effective.(有效证明了什么呢?

Despite the advantage of solving immediate, the anticipated problems could also not be overlooked. As it is known to all, a country should consider the future problems they may be faced(应是主动的吧,改为face) in order to keep developing. For example, today more and more developing or developed country(ies) have highlighted environment (此处应该加一个problems 的同义词,避免与后面重复,但不能不加)as an anticipated problem. It is right for government to establish a law to control the environment that it will not only benefit people live today but give their offspring a clean live(living) condition also. Example also cited(不太清楚可不可以这么用), solar, wind, and nuclear energy have been developed and some of them are used in people’s life for the reason that current energy shorting situation. The reason why these new substitute exit is because the government foresees the future problem they will meet. It is hardly to imagine the case if there is no one care about it. So plan for solving problems we will face in (the) future is also vital and could not be ignored.

On a balance view as I bolster+ed, these two kinds of problems are both important and necessary for a government. Immediate problem is (the) most associated with country('s) currently(去掉ly) need, while anticipated problem will directly effect the situation of country’s future.
