If we have some knowledge of the social problems of different nations, we will be surprised at the similarities of the problems even in quite different nations,which have diversified culture traditions, values and religions. Almost can be seen in any nation at any time are the troubles of theft, depravity, drug abuse and so on, though the appearance and importance might differentiate from nation to nation. Actually, these persistent social problems are the bane of human beings rather than of any specific nation, thus it will be helpful if all nations can help develop a global university for studying of all these problems.

Though each social problem appears to be different in different nations, as theft inaffluent nations may be conducted more for psychological reasons rather thanfor the value of the issue with regard to its counterpart in poor nations,there is always a radical key lying beneath. For instance, when we considerdrug abuse, it can always be related to criminal network which is aimed at excessive profit by attracting as much as possible bold desperados open to riskor those ready to yield to allurement to addiction. Such basic deficiencies like jealousy, avarice, and dishonesty are where most of the social problems root in, regardless the differences of nation or belief. Therefore, a global university can gather the scattered efforts and studies around the world by providing a professional and united circumstance in which students can devote themselves to the process of studying and ultimately solving these worldly persistent social problems.

On the other hand, though nearly all the social problems are persisting in every nation, some may be disasters in one nation while slight flaw in another. A lot of factors contribute to such gaps. Abortion in some countries are treated as severe ethic depravity, though even legislatively prohibited, and still carried underground frequently, while in other nation, on the contrary, there might be little legislative limit or ethic pressure on such behaviors, but the happeningis much lower. Differences of same social problems in two nations are likely to show the effect of ethical values, customs, traditions as well as relevant laws and disciplines. Thus, comparisons between the social problem situations indifferent nations may be helpful and instructive for some country to learn from another, and improvement or amendment can be made in legislation or the conduction of social ethics.

Sucha global university asks for the support from all nations of the world. Not only financial support is needed, but also intellectual investment and willingness to cooperate are needed in greater demands. What should be clarified is that, the aim of such a university is never to reach anyone-bottom solution to a social problem.
