It can not be denied that there are large differences between tradition and modernization, but it is absurd when we think that tradition and modernization are totally incompatible. Actually, not only modernization can develop with exist of tradition in our times, but they are harmonically compatible as well.

Granted that, a few sorts of tradition are expelled from our modern world occasionally in that those thoughts and methods are out of date and unscientific. For instance, some working tools of agronomy are greatly in-effective and time consuming. In other word, they are unscientific and are opposite to our modern times. Now that those traditions are preventing our society from developing, to forget and abandon those antique tools, we need to choose even better and more efficient tool to serve us. Another example is involving thoughts of tradition which are followed from the past time. It is true that they are common sense in that time, some of them, however, are entirely ungrounded and out of date. It seems so absurd for them to debate with the true science in our times. As a consequence, some kind of tradition and modernization are independent so that people need to choose between them.

Nevertheless, most traditions are developing well in the company of our modernization. They are both necessary almost in every field to build us a more excellent and fantastic world. For instance, the use of abacuses in calculating is as popular as the electronic calculator in China. Both of them bring high-effectiveness and convenience to us human being. And in the field of music, we observe that the traditional Beijing opera is as popular as pop music not only on the screen but in the concert as well. That means most traditions and modernizations are developing well in the company of each other.

Moreover, not only modernization can be developing with exist of tradition, but they are harmonically compatible as well. In other word, to some degree, they offer people to use each other's unique power to accomplish those more difficult tasks and to create more fancy works. Take music opera for instance. In America, it is the opera that enjoys its extremely high popularity in the Broadway in the past century. However, since Webber in Briton and Sondheim in US inject the modern spirit of pop and rock music into the classical and traditional opera, music opera has been elevated to much higher level in our modern world. To the combination of pop and classic opera, we are fortunate to appreciate such fresh and new kind of arts, music opera, which never can be imagined and created in the past.

To sum up, it is true that there tradition is quite different from modernization in large aspects, but unless either of their power, it is impossible that our modern world takes on such a beautiful picture and a well developing condition.
