开头è基本同意作者观点，虽然我们在某些情况下的确没有选择，但是当今社会给予我们更多的是可以选择。
Body1: 让步：有些情况下，我们没有更多的选择。EXAMPLE 包括专制政府的不民主政策，自然规律（生老病死）法律法规（退休政策，交通法规），出国留学（TOFEL，GRE考试）

Body2: However,当今社会大部分的情况下，社会赋予我们更多的选择。EXAMPLE 1.通讯： to get information，即可以通过报纸，也可以通过电视，还可以通过网络。EXAMPLE 2. 教育：可以根据自己的爱好，选择自己最喜欢的专业，进入大学后，还可以挑选选修课程。 EXAMPLE 3.商业投资：可以即可以选择股票，也可以选择基金，还可以选择债券，期货等。

Body3: 很多人认为没有选择的原因 1. 这些选择对他们来是不是最好的选择,但是其实仍然是有选择的（选举） 2. 这些选择对他们来是没有可行性

总结

In this statement, the speaker claims the absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare. I fundamentally agree with his view on it. Although sometimes we have been forced to make decisions, or take active that we are not willing to, we still have to believe the modern society of the world provides us full of choices.

Admittedly, in some condition, we had to accept the fact that absence of choice really exist in the world. For example, in autarchy like the government of Hitler, Jew were persecuted, and deprived of almost all the privileges that they have no choice to compete their hope for life, or even to live as a normal people in the country, thus choices seem to be a wild wish when living at that age. Let’s also take a view on the order of nature. We also have no choice when facing the problem of being young, mature, old or even meet our death. Additionally, regulations like traffic law render us no more choices. The three color traffic light showed only instructs us to run, to run slowly, and to stop. But there dose not exit the forth choice for people to choose. As for me, who am from a non native-English speaking country, if I want to study abroad in America, I will be required to take part in the exam of TOFEL, GRE, and GRE sub without other choices.

However, in the most respect, our society provides us much more choices than ever before. Take a view on communications, with the development of today’s mass media technology; people can get information not only by newspaper, broadcast or letters, but also through Television, Network, or telephones. These new technology methods definitely extend the range of personal choices. As for education realm, students now can elect their major based on their interest, what’s more, when entering university, they would all benefit from the policy the university build up that each one could take lessons beyond student’s field of study. In economic realm, individuals also have many choices when they want to do some investment. They can invest money on stock, found, bond and futures. After all, it should be considered, compared with former ages, society shows us much more choices than ever before.

At last, I want to talk about the issue why we always hear people saying” I have no choice!”. The first reason for this question I think is because the choice rendered for those people might be not the best one but actually, the choice is really available. For instance, people might find it is hard to choice from the candidates when faced a public election, since everyone for them seems excellent and allege to devote to the country as well. Voter might strike a balance on his or her proposal, policy or any valued action in plan. After all, he or she makes a decision among several choices though there is no best choice but a better one. Therefore, after the analysis, it is quite clear that even when people complain they have no choice there do have some choices in a democratic country. Another reason for this question might caused by the feasibility of exist choice. Consider, a student may say he or she has no choice but to work hard for the approaching exams. Nevertheless, the fact is that to preparing and be diligent is the best way out and will benefit him or her most ,at least himself or herself thinks so; otherwise, say, ignoring the advent exam will make him or her feel regretful after the unsatisfying result comes out. In this case, he or she does make choices, and there are at least three, to study, to give up study, or to cheat in the exam, but there may be only a beneficial one and feasible one.

In sum, I agree with the author’s claim basically. Although it is true some philosophy regulations can not be broke out therefore they provide us less choices, decisions are available to us in most respects. The root cause for those who said they have no choice in certain situations is not because of no choice exist, but because of their true choice in heart. Actually they have already made decisions before that time.
