1.生活中充满选择，没有选择的时候很少很少。选择适合自己的，而不是最好的。
2.当然，的确有没有选择的时候，如，生死，自然灾难，被剥夺权利的人等。但这是很少的。
3.有些时候看上去是到了绝境了，但上帝给你关上了一扇门的时候，同时他为你开启另一扇窗。机会无处不在。智者善于创造和发现机会，而不是等待机会从天而降。机会就在身边，在于自己发现。
4.心态的重要性。意志坚定者能选择生存，事物向好的方向发展。反之则不然。

We are all living in a wonderful world full of chances and choices. Everyday, we face kinds of colorful or sour choices. For example, when it's time for dinner outside, facing lots of different food, we have to choose one or some of them, because we cannot eat all in the same time; facing different universities, students have to make choice to apply a limited number of schools; and even sometimes, we can choose to live or die. Choices are always around us. What important is whether you can discover them, and how you make your choice. So I strongly agree that the absence of choice is a situation that is extremely rare.

However, I have to concede that the circumstances of choice absent do still exist. For example, like a child, people cannot choose parents, gender and the day of birth. But these are the extremes. In some circumstances, we cannot anticipate and avoid some nature accident, such as, earthquake, Tsunami and so forth. For people of sever mental or physical deficiency, may potentially strip of their abilities to make conscious choices. All above are possible exceptions of absence of choice. But they are indeed rare.

In my observation, many people have met such circumstances, feel no way to go. In fact, most of people have come through the bog, and are leading a happy life. Sometimes, we do meet some difficulties that seem next to impossible to handle, for instance, bankrupt, layoff, or even about to die because a serious disease. Simply glance, it is no choice. However, close scrutiny, it is totally wrong. If there is really no any choice, then how can those people still live today? This is no a joke. God closes a door, fortunately, he will open another winder for you. One way may not direct you to Roma, but there must be another way which can lead you to your aim. Choices are sometimes like genies playing tricks with us. They stand behind veils. Wise man can always discover potential chances, and make right decisions. Anyway, these genies like friends always around us, the fundamental thing is we have to discover them and make good use of them.

Standing in front of countless opportunities, how we choose is a critical problem. However, there is an invisible rule which known by most people, is to choice the one that suits you, but not the best one. When choosing soul part, people choose the one that best suitable for him or her, but the one may not the best person in this world. When making a choice which career to pursue/ chase, we choose the most suitable one, even not a field that can lead to millionaire or bright reputation. Situations like these are numerous, we have to choose rightly.

In sum, absence of choices is the circumstance that is really rare. Hopeless situation is a false impression. But we should be wiser to see through the veils, and find opportunities behind them.
