56 "Governments should focus more on solving the immediate problems of today rather than trying to solve the

anticipated problems of the future." [05/20; 06/4]
政府应该把更多的注意力放在解决当务之急，而不是试图解决将来预期的问题上。
提纲：
1、some problems have already seriously influence people's life that the government must try to solve them immediately.e.gthe crimes the drugs and the violence
2、some problems haven't directly influnced us but we should take full consideration of the result of every step we take today e.g to control the birth rate may result into the problem of inequalities of age and therefore make our society as  a aging one
3、if not there will be a disaster in future e.g today's global warming result from the lack of consideration during the moderization.



Admittedly,today's society is far from perfection:we have to worry that if we have the door closed,if one day we will be
injured or if we will become jobless and homeless suddently. The social problems are everywhere around us and we turn
to our government for solution,which is the basic obligation of our government.
   
Thus without doubt, our government should focus on the immediate problems occuring around people.Certain penalty
should be executed against crimes;enough employment should be offered for jobless people;traffic jams should be
diminished for a shorter time on transport and property values,directly influnce the quality of people's life ，should be
decreased.Our whole society is evolved during the the circle of "problems-solution-new problems-another solution“ .
Without the diminish of  gender inequality and racial discrimination there will be no opportunity for talented women and blackmen into the different fields of science and arts and thus there will be no contribution from them which is absolutely huge.
  
But for the government,a deeply consideration for the future of the society is necessary because dealing with the
problems requires a long-run time during which there will occure new problems directly or indirectly resulting from the
solution of present ones.After the the foundation of RPC(The republic of China)the Chinese leaders take the idea that the increase of population is a significant way to develop the econimic of China and thus dirtectly leads to the incredible huge population in China which ,in return,tremendously hinder the development of Chinese economic and also generate a
number of big problems  in other fields such as education and the employment.Even a presently helpful policy will result in some unexpected problems. We will never forget the DDT,a kind of pesticide which is used to prevent the agriclture
damage from the pests is also a kind of toxic chemical which can be accumulated  through the food chain.For government,to preview the potencial problems will be necessary for making policies to solve present problems.Neither can we wait to
control the pollution during our moderization after the whole enviroment is  unsuitable for existence nor can we have  
most  of the animals distincted before stop hunting.If so ,the whole society will be plunged into a mess.

There will be another suddent situation that the government can not prepare for it such as the SARS in China.It will be a challenge for the government but will also be a disaster.For most of Chinese peole it is too scared  to assume if the virus
of SARS is out of control.So a government should have enough experience to deal with these unpredictable but serius
problems.


All we wish is a peachful society in which we will have no pain ,no poverty and no famine and a thoughtful and powerful government may guarantee us more.
