Governments should focus more on solving the immediate problems of today rather than trying to solve the anticipated problems of the future.

不同意作者观点。“人无远虑，必有近忧”，注重immediate problems 的同时，更应该采取措施，预防将来会产生的问题。

As a Chinese old saying goes: “one who doesn’t consider the anticipated problems of the future must be in trouble soon”, trying to avoid or solve the anticipated problems is more important to the government, though solving the immediate problems is important as well.

Our modern society has developed to a high civilized period, in which most people live in a good quality. There are some adverse factors, however, impede them to live in a better one. Paying more attention to the immediate problems’ solving is the responsibility to governments. The immediate problems our people or nation being suffered always the direct factors preventing people from living in a better condition. The living condition of citizens in China’s big city, such as Beijing、Shanghai、Guangzhou etc, is a case in point. The unreasonable high price of the house and the salaries’ low level has conflicted more and more severely. If governments do not spend more energy and money to solve these problems, the society’s stability and prosperity may ruined in a sooner future. So, to let people live in a better quality, governments should focus on the immediate problems.

On the other hand, we also find that most of today’s immediate problems are results of our predecessors’ paying more attention on profits that in front of them than the damage to the future. When the so-called modern industry’s tall chimney emitting dark、thick and chocking smoke, the master of the factory would saw bundles of money rather than the polluted air and the Ozone Hole over Antarctica in nowadays. The problems of water emergency, energy emergency, Global warming, the El Nino/La Nina event etc, are almost serious immediate problems that our predecessors left to us. If people in those days can legislates laws to forbid polluting, abandon exploiting and deforesting, our problems would be much smaller and easy to handle now. From the experience of ancestors, we can say that taking measures to avoid or solve the anticipated problems is even more important.

At last, to forecast the anticipated problems and to avoid their happening by appropriate ways can not only benefit to us but it can also leave a better globe to our descendants. As soon as the first atomic bomb had been produced, the “nuclear war” has always been the potential threat to humanity. We even can foresee that the day a “nuclear war” break out or the technology of nuclear weapon have been obtained by the terrorists would be the end of the world. So everything we can do is that prohibit the “nuclear plan” in the countries who have no technology to produce it and prevent the diffuse of it by the force of UN. If we let it progress in its own way, there is no doubt that our globe would disappear because of its ingenious residents’ clever invention. Thus, solving the anticipated problems before they develop to a serious one is very important.

In conclusion, we must emphasize the avoiding and solving the anticipated problems much more if we hope our globe will be exist or even better, though it is important to handle with the immediate problems in front of us.

批改的很仔细啊。我的句子、语言、语法上确实存在一些问题，要好好补补课了。
另外，我也觉得开头和结尾应该是出彩的段落，但是还没找到好的表达方法。
结尾段现在还只是重复开头，和ETS范文的差远了。范文结尾都挺简短，又起到发展文意的作业。要好好学习下。
下去再好好改改。
