Topic51:"Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

(1.31    1.5 hours    566 words )

I agree with the ideal thought that education will be perfectly effective if it is able to meet the individual needs and interests of every student at the same time. However, such goal seems really hard to achieve. Even if so, the efficiency of education might be unbelievably low. There are three main aspects that should be taken into consideration.

To begin with, as far as I am concerned, it is of little possibility that most students share the same or similar interests or needs. Instead, their personal demand may be conpletely different or irrelevant. For that matter, there will not be enough time, place, or money for every university or hight school to satisfy each student. For instance, 50 students of an university owning over 10 thousand persons might be crazy about snooker, wishing to practise every day. If the university try to meet their needs, it will have to specifically prepare two or three snooker tables and relevant instruments and a comparatively large room for this. Obviously, all the efforts will be much more effective and be able to meet much more students' and teachers' needs if building a library with the same money and place. Even if the snooker room is built, what about the other 10 thousand people? They must have their own diverse interests. But how can the university satisfy them all? How many other institutes, instruments or professional teachers are needed? There will never be such a rich and huge school to make it.

Even if we assume that there are truely some schools managing to meet the individual needs and intersts of each student, will the education be truly effective and beneficial? I am afraid not. On one hand, not every student's needs or interests are worthy to satisfy, what is more, their interests may have to be inhibited. Being young and lacking the ability to tell the good from the bad, some students' interests may be totally not beneficial or even harmful to their lives. Many youth may be huge fans of some pop stars who abuse drugs, for example, and imitate their bad habits. In such case, schools ought to avoid meeting such demand and interests of their students. Otherwise, such education will not be effective and even useless for students' study as well.

On the other hand, yound students may not be able to assure their ture needs and interests, thus their personal interests changing day by day. A student may find history an amazing subject today, and quickly turn to art works a month later. It is impossible for certain school to change their instrument or class schedules following the variety of students' needs. Meanwhile, students never tend to be fond of the same other subjects simultaneously. All these facters will make it completely difficult for schools to arrange their constructive plans, which will surely low down the efficiency and effectivity of education.

All in all, it seems impossible for schools to meet every student's individual needs and interests with true effectivity of education. Therefore, I think every school should meet the beneficial needs and interests of most students, and make efforts to prevent some students from suffering from their own bad habits. For some youth with special interests, they can get what they need by taking classes outside school in their spare time. In this way, education can be the most effective and helpful.

Even if so, the efficiency of education might be unbelievably low. There are three main aspects that should be taken into consideration.

To begin with, as far as I am concerned, it is of little possibility impossible? that most students share the same意思重复了 or similar interests or needs. Instead, their personal demand may be conpletely different or irrelevant. For that matter, there will not be enough time, place, or money for every university or hight school to satisfy each For instance, 50 students of an university owning over 10 thousand persons might be crazy about snooker, wishing to practise every day. Even if we assume that there are truely some schools managing to meet the individual needs and intersts of each student, will the education be truly effective and beneficial? I am afraid not. On one hand, not every student's needs or interests are worthy to satisfy, what is more, their interests may have to be不太合适 ,inhibited是不是错了,应该是harmful吧. Being young年轻本身没什么问题,应该是作为年青人学习经历的少,所以才lacking ability and lacking the ability to tell the good from the bad mixture吧,从坏的里面应该摘不出好的吧, some students' interests may be totally not beneficial or even harmful to their lives. 。。Many youth may be huge fans of some pop stars who abuse drugs, for example, and imitate their bad habits.

It is impossible for certain school to change their instrument or class schedules following the variety是多样性还是多变性? of students' needs. Meanwhile, students never tend to be fond of the same other subjects simultaneously. All these facters will make it completely difficult for schools to arrange their constructive plans, which will surely low down reduce the efficiency and effectivity of education.

All in all, it seems impossible for schools to meet every student's individual needs and interests with true effectivity of education.
